The uniquely styled Classic Solo looks excellent on your Inian while providing an extraordinary amount of rider comfort. Corbin's seating platform conforms to the shape of your body for maximum support and more square inches of body contact. This is one of the secrets of long range comfort and is a staple of Corbin design. For added back support, our Classic Solo saddle accept an optional rider's backrest that provides an additional nine inches of vertical support. Also available in a CLOSE model that provides seating closer to the bars and slightly lower for easier reach.
Corbin backrests install easily into hardware concealed inside the saddle for a very clean look. In order to fit a wide range of riders, it is fully angle adjustable. Just install the backrest into the saddle, lock it in place with a single setscrew and adjust the backrest angle to suit. A variety of backrest styles are available to suit your taste and the amount of support desired. Shown above with our #02-SB Ovalbac backrest.
For maximum versatility we've designed the Corbin solo saddle to work with two different passenger pillion seats. Corbin's 50's pillion is built with our exclusive high-density Comfort Cell foam to provide firm support with a low, fender hugging profile. It comes decorated in your choice of leather styles to coordinate with your Corbin solo. This special Touring pillion is designed specifically to work with the Indian sissybar and provides your passenger with maximized seating area and touring class comfort. Sculpted ergonomically to eliminate hot spots and improve weight distribution. Both pillions install easily with all required hardware included.
Our 50's pillion looks excellent on the bike and will work with or without the Indian sissy bar. We actually have TWO models of the Touring Pillion, the model shown on this page works with the Indian sissybar and we have another model that works by itself or with the Corbin trunk. Both models of the touring pillion have increased area of body contact and are sculpted ergonomically for best support and weight distribution. This one is slightly smaller in order to fit between the sissybar uprights and support bar. If you will NOT be using the Indian sissybar and would like a little more passenger support, please view THIS PAGE.
For an added bit of luxury, the Classic Solo saddle has the option of electric heated seating. You'll be amazed how a heated seat can raise your core body temperature during one of those chilly morning rides. This system easily wires directly to the bike's accessory jack and provides heat with the flip of a switch. Heater unit is built into the saddle and comes preinstalled. Switch is conveniently located on the left side of the seat.
Shaping of the Classic Solo is designed to emulate the contour of your body. This gives excellent support for longer-range comfort. Our neutralized seating also helps to curb sliding in the saddle that greatly reduces rider fatigue. Inside, the solo and pillion are built up with our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam for a firm, supportive ride that lasts. Corbin saddles feel firm when you first ride on them, but this firmness is what supports your body and maintains the correct shape. Over time, Comfort Cell® will break in and provide a personalized fit to your body for even greater comfort. Click on the image at right to help determine which model of the Corbin Solo is right for you.
Corbin's backrests come covered to match your saddle and also offer the option of custom finishing plates on the rear. Backrests come standard with an ABS leather look backing plate but you can choose a carbon-fiber look or a paintable model at no added charge. For a little extra we offer pre-painted gloss black that coordinates perfectly with the look of the bike.
Looking to add a bit of storage to your bike? We now offer a slick "Glovebox" that bolts up to the Corbin backrests in place of a finishing plate (#297-B & #02-SB only). This little beauty provides four liters of locking storage with is plenty for all your small essentials like cell phones, maps, water bottles and even a spare pair of gloves. Fully lined on the inside to protect your cargo and the locking door keeps it all secure. Constructed of durable ABS and available prepainted gloss black. Check the Accessories tab for more information on the Corbin Glovebox.
Saddles and backrests include genuine leather seating panels in your choice of colors and styles and a tasteful diamond stitch pattern in the solo seat and ebroidered warrior feather in the pillion. Leather provides a luxurious perch that breathes with your body enhancing comfort value. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape in support of the personalized fit. In the side panels we use a coordinating vinyl material to keep the saddle looking sharp longer and support the foam shape. We also include genuine leather fringe and the option of chrome or black studs at no additional charge (be sure to specify when ordering). Leather seating will perform for years and add value to your Corbin investment. Over time it will develop its own unique character just like your leather jacket.
For your Indian sissybar we offer two different backrest pads. The standard model offers good passenger support sculpted to fit the shape of their back. Our Armrest models provides much more square inches of back support and the addition of armrests built in. Both models mount easily to your Indian sissybar just like the original backrest pad. Includes genuine leather back panels and comes fully coordinated to your Corbin saddle.
Indian offers this slick little fender mounted luggage rack for solo riders. It mounts to a single place on the rear fender and ties in with the Indian solo seat at the front. For the Corbin seat, we offer a special bracket that integrates with our pillion pad bracket. This allows you to use either of our pillion pads or easily swap them out for the fender rack when riding solo. See part number #I-RACK-BRKT below.
Regarding Seat Height: We measured the effective seat height of our Dual Tour and Classic Solo saddles and came up with numbers that don't jive with the OEM spec. We're not sure how they measured, but we made the Corbin saddles as low as practical to put the rider is the sweet spot on the bike. This changes the seat height, but we think this visual comparison makes more sense than the numbers. Just click on the image at right to check it out.
IMPORTANT FIT INFORMATION: Please review this image and note the shape and size of the side covers on your bike. If your side covers look like A then you actually need this seat: #I-C-SOLO. If your side covers look like B, this is the correct seat for your motorcycle.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING:
A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is its
ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed

This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb
sliding in the saddle, which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell:
more comfort for a longer ride!
