Corbin offers our Classic solo seat and two different pillion pad options for your passenger. The uniquely styled Classic Solo looks excellent while providing an extraordinary amount of rider comfort. Corbin's seating platform conforms to the shape of your body with separated seating and back platforms that provide support and more square inches of body contact. This is one of the secrets of long range comfort and is a staple of Corbin design.
For added back support Classic solo accepts an optional rider's backrest that provides an additional nine inches of vertical support. Our backrest installs easily into hardware concealed inside the saddle for a very clean look. In order to fit a wide range of riders, it is fully angle adjustable. Just install the backrest into the saddle, lock it in place with a single set screw and adjust the backrest angle to suit.
Corbin's Ovalbac series backrests come covered to match your saddle, but also offer the option of custom finishing plates on the rear. Backrests come standard with an ABS leather look backing plate but you can choose from a variety of models.
For maximum versatility we've designed the Corbin solo saddles to work with two different style passenger pillion seats. For a very sly, low-profile look the Hollywood pillion is the choice. This model is great for occasional passengers that ride with you on short to medium length trips.
If your passenger wants touring class comfort, than our Touring Pillion is the choice for you. This model offers a wider seating area for more square inches of body contact. Just like the seat, our pillions are built with our exclusive high-density Comfort Cell foam to provide firm support that lasts. Comes decorated to coordinate with your Corbin solo saddle.
For an added bit of luxury, Classic Solo has the option of electric heated seating. You'll be amazed how a heated seat can raise your core body temperature during one of those chilly rides. This system easily wires directly to your Harley's fusebox and provides two levels of heat with the flip of a switch. Heater unit and automated controller are built into the saddle and come pre-installed. The two position switch is conveniently located on the left side of the seat.
Designed to work with a variety of Harley-Davidson accessory items like detachable sissy bars and Tour Paks. It's not possible to test all possible accessories, but we have confirmed the following most popular items:
Saddles and pillions include genuine leather seating. This new pattern with black faux-ostrich stripe, braided welts and tuck & roll stitch keeps a subtle look but provides a nice custom touch too. If you prefer to keep things simple, we can make your saddle with smooth black stripe and plain welts. With our new separated seating platform, we recommend always using this stitch pattern.
This saddle cover has been updated to use our new backrest hardware cover with the sliding door as shown here. To install the backrest, just slide the cover over to the side. When the backrest is not needed, just slide it closed. It doesn't get easier than that! Click image for details.
