Our Canyon Dual Sport saddle design for the GS converts your stock two-piece seat into a very comfortable single piece dual saddle. Designed to maximize the comfort and usability of your bike while placing you in the sweet spot. This single piece design also gave us the ability to work in backrest support hardware in the front seating position which would not be possible with the two-piece unit.

Our Canyon Dual Sport provides platforms that offer an increased area of body contact to give excellent weight dispersion and eliminate hot spots. Neutralized to curb the tendency to slide in the saddle which will greatly reduce fatigue. The shaping of the Corbin saddle relieves centralized pressure and supports from the sides.

All Corbin saddles are built up with our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam. They may feel firm at first, but they break-in to your body and provide lasting support for years... firm is a Good thing! We've also neutralized the seating posture to curb sliding in the saddle and have provided ample room for you to move fore and aft depending on your riding posture.

Accepts a removable backrest in the rider's position for added vertical back support. Backrest installs with a single screw and adjusts easily without removing it from the saddle. Our new Ovalbac model #02-S (shown) has backing plate options for a custom look. Choose from a variety of backrest styles and sizes to suit your needs.

All components are covered using genuine leather in the body contact areas for a perch that breathes with your body. Our leather will break in along with your foam for a luxurious ride. Just make sure you care for your saddle with a quality conditioner like Corbin's Saddle Cream. On this model we've used Carbon-Fiber leather in the seating with Asphalt vinyl sides for contrast. Vinyl sides will keep your saddle nice and tight and looking new longer. Our tasteful stitch pattern and motosport themed logo add a nice finishing touch.

Naturally we have built electric seat heaters into our saddle design that integrate with the BMW control module. A conveniently located switch along the side for the passenger works just like the stock unit. Temperature is controlled and maintained just like the OEM seat to provide luxurious heat on those chilly mornings. To add a touch of class and conceal the heating pads, we use a tasteful twin stitch pattern in the leather seating areas.

Important note about seat heater: It has been brought to our attention that tapping the Corbin wiring pigtail into your BMW wire harness may effect your warranty. If you prefer not to use this method, you can get the BMW connectors from you local dealer and splice those to the Corbin seat heater pigtail. These BMW connectors are not included with the Corbin saddle.

As an extra added value, Corbin's Ovalbac backrest models have a custom finishing plate option included at no extra charge. We have a standard leather-look plate, a Carbon-Fiber look (shown) or primer if you'd like to have it custom painted. If you really want a custom look, you can get a finishing plate in chromed steel or pre-painted gloss black for just a little extra. Please be sure to choose your finishing plate option when ordering.

If you're looking to add a bit of convenient storage, the rear finishing plate can be replaced with the Corbin exclusive Glovebox. This adds four liters of locking storage that is perfect for maps, cell phones, bottled water and other small travel essentials. Comes fully lined and weather stripped to protect cargo. Available in plain black ABS or prepainted gloss black for a little extra.

Mike has been producing quality saddles for America's motorcyclists since 1968 and has been perfecting the art of long distance riding ever since!
HeliBar Demo Perfecting the Ergos: When Mike picked up his GS, he carefully evaluated the ergonomics and did a lot of seat time to determine the best riding position... or as we call it, the Sweet Spot. Our seat models plant you in this perfect spot which gives you the best feeling of integration with your bike and comfort value. Some have found the reach to the bars to be a tad too much in this position, but moving the seating forward would change the seating which isn't ideal. We suggest going with the Tour Performance bar risers from HeliBar. They provide an additional 2" in height and pull back 2 1/4" to the rider. Sets the new 1250 GS just about perfect!
