Corbin offers two styles of our world famous solo design for Softails:
Gunfighter combines rider comfort and a fast look for all Softail models. Up front an ergonomically contoured saddle provides a large area of body contact for best weight dispersion. Gunfighter features a fastback tail section that is padded and upholstered to provide for short trip passengers. A legendary design worldwide!
Close Gunfighter is similar in design to the original, but this special model has seating closer to the bars and lower to the ground. Combine this with a narrower nose and the Close Gunfighter becomes the perfect accessory for riders with reach problems. Don’t worry, we still provide a generous seating position that will keep you comfortable on longer rides.
Both Models of the Gunfighter design accept our removable rider’s backrest in a variety of styles. Our backrests install easily into hardware concealed in the saddle so there are no unsightly brackets to clutter up the look of your bike. Corbin backrests are fully adjustable to provide a tailored fit to your posture. We offer a variety of backrest styles to suit your taste, just follow the Backrest links in the Accessories tab of this page.
All components feature genuine leather seating for a perch that breathes with your body and breaks in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Choose from a variety of leather styles to customize the look of the saddle. In the side panels and tail, we use a coordinating vinyl material to keep your foam shape tight and the saddle looking sharp longer. Naturally we offer tail flames or colored welts at no extra charge if desired. Leather makes an excellent cover for a motorcycle seat because it is extremely durable and luxurious to ride on. As your saddle ages, the leather will take on its own unique character just like your leather jacket does. Just be sure to care for it properly with a quality leather conditioner like our Saddle Cream. Your saddle will be your best friend for many years!
Saddles and backrest are built up of our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam to provide you with a firm, supportive ride that lasts all day. Gunfighter saddle installs on your bike easily with a tongue in the front and a single screw into your fender. For a very clean installation, use one of our chromed billet thumbscrews at the rear. These triple chrome plated screws provide you with tool free installation of your saddle and a nice finishing touch. Available in 1/4" x 20 or 1/4" x 28 thread sizes to suit your needs. Sorry, but this particular seat model does not fit the early Heritage SPRINGER models (1999 and prior).

The standard Corbin backrest for years! This model is the same size and shape as the Standard Ovalbac above, but without the hole in the middle. Provides plenty of sculpted back support without looking too big on the bike. Works in both the rider or passenger seating area on virtually all Corbin saddle models. Like the Standard Ovalbac show above, but with a larger contact area for added support. Works great as a passenger backrest in Dual Touring models. Because of the added width, we do not recommend this model in the front position while carrying a passenger... it may interfere with their legs. Sculpted to provide wide ergonomic support. This model is specially designed to be used in the large Dual Touring seats (like HD Baggers) or in Master's Type saddles as found on the Goldwings. All Corbin saddles (with very little exception) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.... don't let anybody tell you that vinyl is just as good! You wouldn't buy vinyl boots would you?
PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
