The #02-T model Ovalbac gets its name from the "T" shape when looked at it straight on. This shaping is designed to offer a huge area of body contact, but is notched at the bottom to allow passenger leg clearance. As such, this particular model is best suited as a Rider's rest in touring seats as found on the 1200 & 1500 Honda Goldwings, Kawasaki Voyager and the like. Although this model still works in all Corbin seats that accept a removable rest, it would visually appear too large in other applications.
Like all Corbin backrest models, the Touring Ovalbac is fully adjustable to provide a tailored fit to rider's posture and installs easily into hardware concealed in the saddle. This way there are no unsightly brackets to clutter up the look of your bike.
Naturally, we've curved the contact area to make it fit your back ergonomically. This creates a greater area of body contact and maximum comfort. We build it up with the same materials that have made Corbin the first name in touring saddles. Have your backrest covered to match your seat with a range of leather and color options. For an added bit of customization, choose from a range of finishing plate options for the rear.

Simple to install... Our plated steel backrest shaft slides into a special receptacle built into (or bolted into) the Corbin saddle. In most cases, the backrest locks in with a single safety screw under the seat. Backrest angle adjustment is simple and does NOT require removal of the backrest. A single set-screw handles it all.
NOTE: In the images above you will see a model #02-S to show the finishing plate choices and fold down action. That is not this model backrest. The 360 degree view is correct.
Chrome finishing plate is not available on this model, only on the #02-S Standard.

PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
