It’s still very early in the American Flat Track season, but it’s off to a good start with Jared Mees defending his 2021 Championship!

We’ll let Jared take it from here:

For the main event, I got a decent jump off of the
line and came off turn two in 2nd, having to work on
Baumen for the lead. It took me about 4 laps to set
him up for a pass and then he latched on to me and
breathed down my neck for the entire main event. I
was able to hold him off and win my 62nd win and
also tie the record of most wins at different locations.
Hats off to my team, of course, but most of all the
fans and series for gutting it out with rain. I also think
we broke a record with highest amount of wind the
two days we were there.

15 Races to go with the next one kicking off in Lexington, KY
