Typically we shave a Gunfighter tail real low to give it a race cowl look, but since we made a Solo that works with your seat cowl already, we made this one with a much more capable rear area for a passenger. But we've still kept a very clean look on the bike!
Honda says it's a decathalon champ with incredibly wide range and they're right... the bike just needed a little Corbin attention to add LONG range to the mix. We started with our high density Comfort Cell foam that allows a sleek profile while providing a firm, supportive ride.
Then we sculpt the rider seating ergonomically to fit the curve of your body and provide better weight distribution. This also helps to eliminate the centralized pressure felt from the stock seat. In the nose area, we sculpt the saddle narrow to allow for ground reach.
For a clean look, the passenger area is shaped to emulate the lines of the bike with a low profile. On the inside, the tail is padded and upholstered to provide for passenger capability. As we mentioned earlier, this particular Gunfighter saddle was built with a little extra copilot comfort in mind.
Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the tank, tail section and sides... this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin's ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal. Over time, our exclusive foam material will break in for a personalized fit to your body.
On top, we include your choice of genuine leather seating panels in a wide range of colors and textures. The images above show Black Carbon-Fiber leather seating, Matte Black contrasting sides and tail with Black stitching and a Candy Red welt. You can also choose from a range of color options by special order at no additional charge!
We use genuine leather seating in all of our saddle models because it breathes with your body and will conform along with the foam shape during break in. This provides an added bit of luxury on those long rides. In the side panels, we use a coordinating vinyl material that will support the foam shape and keep the saddle looking sharp longer. Be sure to care for you leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream.
Our seat rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint job and mounts to your bike using the stock key lock system. All required brackets come pre-mounted on the saddle. Rear seat latch is adjustable to assure a perfect fit with your key lock system. When new, you may wish to put a washer between seat and bracket to ease locking on the bike. Remove these washers once the rubber bumpers have broken in a bit.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING:
A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is its
ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed
to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more
square inches of body contact and helps eliminate hot spots.
This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb
sliding in the saddle, which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell:

Measurements:
Rider seating: 12" wide x 12" long x 4" deep Rear seating: 8.5" wide x 9" long
Mounts easily with brackets preinstalled on the Corbin saddle that mesh with your stock key lock system. Simply slide the saddle into place nose first to engage the front tongues and lower the rear into place. Push firmly on the tail section to latch and you're ready to hit the road.

SADDLE WARRANTY:
Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original
owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for
one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back for refining of
shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires
a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not
available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be
accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY:
Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the
original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing
defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside
forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit
refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service
consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material
Authorization (RMA) number.
