Our Gunfighter saddle for the Energica Ribelle is a perfect example of this combination of form and function.
Up front the seating area has been ergonomically designed to distribute body weight over a greater area. This provides longer-range support and eliminates hot spots. Neutralized seating platform helps to hold your body in place and curbs sliding in the saddle. This also helps to relieve rider fatigue by taking pressure off your wrists and knees. Our exclusive Comfort Cell foam material on the inside provides a firm, resilient ride that supports your body indefinitely. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in and adapt to provide a personalized fit to your body.
For a solo look, the Gunfighter tail section is shaped to emulate the lines of the bodywork with a fastback tail section. On the inside, the tail is padded and upholstered to provide for short trip passenger capability. Although the shaping of the tail is designed primarily for looks, the Comfort Cell foam still provides a reasonable perch, though you will notice it is sloped towards the rear so you'll want to make sure your passenger holds on tight!
Bucket shaping of the front seating area gives an unprecedented amount of body support. Notice how it curves up at the back to provide support to your lower back. Towards the front of the bucket we design the saddle narrower to allow for ground reach. Smaller riders may prefer to slide forward and out of the bucket at stop signs for best ground reach.
Our lightweight thermoformed base material and patented manufacturing process allows a perfect fit to the lines of the bodywork and tank. This rigid baseplate provides the saddle with a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the foam. The entire seat rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint job and mounts to your bike similar to stock and works with the factory key lock. One bracket needs to be transferred from the OEM seat onto the Corbin saddle.

Corbin's saddle mounts like stock and integrates with the factory key lock system to provide the hinge action to access your charging port.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING:
A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is its
ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed
to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more
square inches of body contact and helps eliminate hot spots.
This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb
sliding in the saddle, which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell:
more comfort for a longer ride!

PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY:
Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding
technology, which is now the process by which all Corbin
saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight
tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and
base material.

WARNING:
Heater elements (when available) should never be installed in
motorcycle seats that will be used by riders that cannot sense heat.
This could create a hazardous condition.

Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example:
Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc.

We provide these options at no extra charge as long as we can use our existing cover patterns. Creating a new cover design requires specialized custom work and will result in additional charges.
SADDLE WARRANTY:
Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original
owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for
one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back for refining of
shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires
a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not
available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be
accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY:
Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the
original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing
defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside
forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit
refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service
consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material
Authorization (RMA) number.
EXPORT SALES:
USA pricing shown. When products are shipped throughout the world, you will
see higher prices because of freight, customs, duty & applicable taxes.
