Dual Touring Saddle

Corbin takes the touring capability of the BMW R 1300 RT to the next level with ergonomic sculpting and a wide, supportive bucket shape designed for long days in the saddle. The seat is lowest through the center, relieving pressure from the tailbone while the contoured shape cradles your body and distributes weight over a greater area. The result is a comfortable, supportive seating position that complements the RT's active riding character while giving you the support needed to make the most of its long-distance touring capability.

Naturally, we build electric seat heaters into our saddle and integrate them with the BMW control module. A conveniently located switch along the passenger side operates just like the stock unit, while temperature is controlled and maintained through the OEM system for luxurious warmth on chilly mornings. To add a touch of class while concealing the heating elements, we use a tasteful twin-stitch diamond pattern throughout the seating areas.

As we developed the seating areas to position both rider and passenger in the sweet spot on the bike, we determined that a rider backrest could not be incorporated due to the BMW seat latch system. Instead, the Corbin saddle provides approximately four inches of integrated lower-back support as part of the seat's ergonomic shape.

Every Corbin saddle is built with our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam. It feels firm at first, but Corbin foam supports your body and stays resilient during long days in the saddle. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in to provide a tailored fit that lasts for years. We've also neutralized the seating posture to help prevent sliding in the saddle, while providing ample room to move fore and aft as your riding posture changes throughout the day.

The seating areas are finished in genuine leather that conforms with the saddle as it breaks in for a truly personalized fit. We offer leather or Alcantara for the seating areas, paired with coordinated vinyl side panels to complete the custom look while keeping the upholstery crisp and the sculpted foam shape well defined.

Dual Touring saddle installs using BMW's built-in key-lock system. Our heated saddle uses a wiring pigtail that integrates with the OEM harness for a clean installation. The Corbin saddle is similar to the standard BMW seat height in the low position, providing a balance of long-distance touring support and reasonable ground reach, but it does not retain the BMW low/high adjustment.
