BMW R1100 R & R850 R
Front and rear saddles are made with backrest support modules built in. Corbin backrests are fully adjustable to provide a tailored fit to your posture. Since they're simple to install, you can use a single backrest transferred front to rear as needed or order two for full time use.
Inside the saddle we build the shape with our exclusive Comfort Cell foam. This material provides a firm yet resilient ride that will support your body for long days on the road. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in and start to take on the specific shape of your body for added comfort. Our saddles feel firm when you first ride on them, but it is this firmness that allows you to go many miles in comfort!
Saddles and backrests come standard with genuine leather seating in your choice of colors and styles. Leather provides a perch that will breathe with your body for a luxurious ride. It is also extremely durable and will break in along with the foam shape for a personalized fit to your body. Just be sure to care for it properly with a good leather conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help hide to age gracefully and remain weather resistant.

FIBERTECH™ BASEPAN: A purpose-built hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. It provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don't telegraph through the foam to your body. Click the button at left to learn more... |

ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is its ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle, which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell: more comfort for a longer ride! Click the button at left for an animation that shows how it works. |

PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology, which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material. To see what this is all about, click the button for more information. |

| For comfort design reasons, the tool box is not built into the bottom of the Corbin rear saddle. Place the tire repair kit and tool bag sideways on the fender in front of the rear seat hook. Our saddle will hold them in place. | |
| Mounts to your bike just like stock. Transfer the front seat bracket onto the Corbin saddle and you're ready to go. Retains height adjustment feature. | |
| Installation Note: Install the front seat first to align bracket, then install the rear saddle. | |

It couldn't look any better than it does now, and the level of quality and comfort leaves me wondering why the heck I waited so long before I bought the Corbin. I'm a Corbin customer for life... -John R. |
