Replacement Finishing Plates

Before we dive into the specifics, let's make something clear: This page is for replacement finishing plates for your Corbin backrest. If you are ordering a new backrest, it will include a finishing plate that you can select during the order process. There is no need to order one from this page unless you want a spare or are changing the look of your existing backrest.

Most Corbin backrest models use an ABS finishing plate on the rear. You can choose from several styles of ABS to add an additional custom touch to your bike. Our current selection:

Textured Leather Look ABS Chrome Look ABS, Add $14 Aluminum Look Carbon-Fiber Look ABS Burlwood Look ABS Smooth Black, Paintable Pre-Painted (Select Colors)

The finishing plate is easy to change out with the two stainless steel screws on the rear. There are six Corbin backrest models that use a finishing plate and the plate shape is specific to each one. Please be sure to order the correct part based on your backrest model.

#297-SB Backrest: There are two design choices for the plate on this model. Choose from a clean Tri-Bar design or Winged Wheel logo (click HERE to view). Likewise the plate is made in two different sizes in order to accomodate studs on the cover pattern. If your backrest has studs, please be sure to let us know so we'll get you the right model.

#297-SB and #02-SB These two backrest models also work with the optional Corbin Glovebox. This piece bolts on in place of a finishing plate and offers four liters of storage capacity. Comes complete and ready to install in either gloss black or any color match we currently offer for our other accessories. Click HERE to see more on this cool product!

Whenever possible we will pass your order along to the Corbin distributor best suited to fulfill your order. Please remember pricing given on this page is US pricing FOB Hollister, CA. This does not take into account taxes, duties, shipping or other charges applicable to getting product into any other country. As such you will see higher pricing in your area.

Corbin works closely with a variety of distributors around the world to coordinate export shipments that minimize landed costs. These distributors are experienced in the product line and are up to date on the latest styles and fitments. They will help make your Corbin experience more enjoyable. In the event a suitable distributor is not available in your country, we will process your order directly.

Cover Material Options

If you are concerned about how a material is going to look on your finished component, we will be happy to send samples at no charge. Just go HERE and use the Chatbot to order. Limitations apply.

	Finishing plates for #297-SB comes in two sizes to allow for use with or without studs. Please let us know if your backrest has studs when ordering.
	Your new Corbin backrest includes a finishing plate when ordering new, this page is solely for replacement units.
	We don't recommend using a painted finishing plate on a backrest in the rider's position WHILE you are carrying a passenger. Their legs may scuff the paint after some mileage.

PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.

CUSTOM COVERS: You are always welcome to choose from our wide variety of colors and material options for your saddle. We provide these options at no extra charge as long as we can use our existing cover patterns. Creating a new cover design requires specialized custom work and will result in additional charges.

SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).

FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available.
