Classic Solo for 2002-2007 Triumph Bonneville America
An outstanding Solo Saddle & Passenger Pillion for the Bonneville America. Designed to provide maximum rider comfort combined with a classy, nostalgic look. Provides the use of our removable rider's backrest for 14 inches of vertical back support. Our sculpted seating position gives maximized body contact and provides true touring comfort with a bucket that gives plenty of vertical support. Our neutralized seat platform offers an easier reach to the ground and a more ergonomic position on the bike.
Corbin’s rear seat (Pillion Pad) easily bolts up along with the Corbin solo and keeps a sleek, vintage look with capabilities for passengers. We build this model to look sly, but use our high density Comfort Cell foam for a firm supportive ride. Ergonomically engineered for better weight dispersion. Naturally it is built to match your Classic Solo for a totally integrated look. Works in conjunction with your Trimph sissy bar / luggage rack and we even offer a coordinated sissy bar pad to complete the look.
If you choose, you can use the Corbin Classic Solo in the front along with your stock Trimph passenger pad. This is a great setup if you often ride solo and wish to remove the passenger seat and luggage rack. This provides a very cool vintage look. Then when you do have a copilot, just pop the Triumph parts on the bike along with the Corbin solo and you're ready to roll.
All Corbin components are richly tailored with genuine leather seating panels and built with our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam. Choose from a wide range of leather options (all included) for your seating. Leather will provide a nice perch that breathes with your body and will break in along with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Just be sure to care for your leather saddle with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. With proper care, your seat will age gracefully developing a unique character and will be your riding buddy for years.
Our Classic Solo Saddle & pillion will completely change the look and feel of your new cruiser. Optional chrome studs provide an added nostalgic touch (included at no charge if desired). The bucket seating of the design plants you in the sweet spot on the bike providing a comfortable and confident feel with tons of long range support. Naturally we've designed them to work with the options current available from Triumph like the chrome luggage rack and leather saddlebags.
Additionally, our Solo Saddle accepts the Corbin removable backrest. Corbin's backrest offers an additional 8.75 inches of adjustable support and is easily installed with a single bolt. We have several styles of backrest to choose from but we visually prefer the #02-S model shown here. Naturally, you can choose any of the models we have available to suit your taste. For added adjustable support, you can install the Corbin backrest is two different height positions in your solo saddle.
Due to our patented molding and manufacturing process, the Solo saddle fits extremely well and installs easily in a manner similar to your stock seat. For installation, you will transfer a bracket from your stock seat onto the Corbin model. This is true for the passenger pillion also, a single bracket transferred to the Corbin unit makes a simple and secure installation. Our Sissy bar pad mounts easily as well using stock locations and bolts.

COMFORT CELL® FOAM: The heart of the Corbin saddle! Our exclusive, purpose built foam material, called Comfort Cell, was created to provide a firm, resilient ride that doesn't break down. This means it will support you for long days on the road. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in to provide a personalized fit to your posture and even greater comfort! ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell... more comfort for a longer ride! Just click the button at left for an animation that shows how it works.
PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material. To see what this is all about, just click the button for More Info
GENUINE LEATHER: We use leather in all panels of the seat that contact your body. This provides a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape to support the personalized fit. Available in a wide range of textures and styles to suit your taste. FIBERTECH™ BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. Click on the button at left to learn more...
CORBIN BACKREST SYSTEM: The first and most versatile removable backrest system available for motorcycles! Corbin's backrests provide added vertical back support and long range comfort. Take good care of your new seat and the seat will take good care of you. Designed to help your leather saddle remain weather resistant and keeps the hide supple. This will allow the leather to break in and age gracefully. Great for boots, gloves & jackets too. Simple rub-in, buff out application. *More Info*
Our most popular backrest model is the perfect blend of form and function. The size looks visually appropriate on most every seat yet is large enough to provide good, sculpted support. Works well in either the rider's or passenger's position. The standard Ovalbac is available with a range of finishing plate options to dress up the rear including chrome! *More Info*
The standard Corbin backrest for years! This model is the same size and shape as the Standard Ovalbac above, but without the hole in the middle. Provides plenty of sculpted back support without looking too big on the bike. Works in both the rider or passenger seating area on virtually all Corbin saddle models. This model also has the option of chrome studs if desired. *More Info*
Like the Standard Ovalbac show above, but with a larger contact area for added support. Works great as a passenger backrest in Dual Touring models. Because of the added width, we do not recommend this model in the front position while carrying a passenger... it may interfere with their legs. Sculpted to provide wide ergonomic support. Offers a variety of finishing plate options to customize the rear (sorry, no chrome). *More Info*
This model is specially designed to be used in the large Dual Touring seats (like HD Baggers) or in Master's Type saddles as found on the Goldwings. Sculpted for extended support both vertically and horizontally, but cut away at the bottom to provide clearance for passenger's legs. A variety of finishing plate options are available to customize the rear. *More Info*
If you want the functionality of a backrest, but also want the smallest appearance possible, this is the backrest model for you. This one is most often used as a rider's backrest in Gunfighter seat models (thus the name). Includes a variety of finishing plate options for the rear. *More Info*
A convenient storage solution that looks great too. Corbin's Glove Box bolts up easily to your #02-S(B) model backrest in place of the rear finishing plate to provide four liters of locking storage. Available in primer or pre-painted. Some color matches are available depending on bike make and model. Comes fully lined too! *More Info*
