Now available from the Wizard's Workshop comes this set of finely crafted hard saddlebags for the Super Blackbird! Sculpted to follow the body design of this awesome bike and add to the look of the machine. They are molded to fit tight alongside the profile of the bike to keep good balance and center of gravity even when loaded. Both bags are shaped to fit around the stock exhaust system and passenger's legs to maximize carrying capacity.
Combined with either our Gunfighter solo saddle or our Gunfighter & Lady two-up saddle, these saddlebags help to make the XX a true touring class machine. Both bags come fully lined to protect your cargo and feature sure seal weather stripping and adjustable locks to seal out the elements. All you need to do is bolt 'em on and get ready to rack up the mileage!
Constructed of durable fibertech for light weight and long life, the Beetle Bag set is available painted to coordinate with your stock paint scheme. All brackets are included for simple installation on your stock Blackbird without body or chassis modification. Corbin's saddlebags will also work with many after market exhaust systems.
"Wind Tunnel Testing"
In August of 1998 Mike rode his Blackbird to the annual Sturgis rally in South Dakota. From our location in Hollister, CA this is approximately a 1500 mile ride if you stick to back roads and canyons (avoiding major interstates). On the way out, Mike was able to reach and maintain a speed of 172 mph (indicated) on some of the lonely stretches of desert road.
The following year he again rode the Blackbird to Sturgis, but this time equipped with our Beetle Bags and Smuggler saddle. On the same stretches of road, Mike was still able to maintain a 172 indicated speed WITH saddlebags on the bike. Luggage that doesn't hurt the aerodynamics of the bike??? It appears so!
If called on it, we'll completely deny that it happened 'cause we don't want Mike to go to jail. Remember, riding above the speed limit is not only against the law, but extremely dangerous! Always wear your helmet and proper riding attire and obey all posted speed limits. We do NOT encourage excessive speeds!

All Corbin saddles (with very little exception) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.... don't let anybody tell you that vinyl is just as good! You wouldn't buy vinyl boots would you?
PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
