Gunfighter & Lady for 2008 - 2006 Buell XB-12Ss "Long"
The longer swingarm and more relaxed riding position extends the capabilities of this model, but for true comfort you're going to need some support. Corbin's Gunfighter & Lady saddle with our high density Comfort Cell foam is just the ticket. We've created an ergonomically corrected seating position that gives more square inches of body contact for comfort that will last as far as you care to ride.
Our Gunfighter & Lady saddle provides a seating position an inch lower than stock to allow for good ground reach. The Corbin saddle is designed to maximize comfort while riding the bike so you'll find it best to slide forward in the seat for ground reach at stop signs. Notice how the nose of the saddle is sculpted to facilitate this. While riding, slide back into the seat bucket for maximum comfort and body support.
Designed to work with an optional, removable passenger backrest for adding copilot support and security. Designed to install and remove easily with just a single bolt. Corbin backrest models are adjustable to provide a tailored fit to rider posture.
Works with any of the backrest models available from Corbin, but we have found the Ovalbac model #02-S (shown) to provide the best combination of looks and support. Sculpted contact patch disperses weight across your passenger's back for best support. This one also makes a convenient hand hold when moving your bike around the garage.
The passenger accommodations on the saddle are top notch with sculpted ergonomics to provide long range support. Both the front and rear seating positions are designed to emulate the shape of the human body and create more square inches of body contact. This equates to better weight dispersion and all day riding comfort. Naturally, seating platforms are neutralized to curb sliding in the saddle under braking or acceleration.
In the images above, we show our "hot set up" with Carbon-Fiber style leather in the seating areas with Asphalt vinyl side panels to tie in visually with the bike. This combination looks dynamic regardless of what color scheme your Lightning is sporting.
Installs easily using brackets premounted on the Corbin saddle. Integrates with your Buell key lock system so you're back on the road fast. Saddle fits perfect to the tank, chassis and tail section of the bike. This kind of fit is available only from Corbin and our patented manufacturing process.

The standard Corbin backrest for years! This model is the same size and shape as the Standard Ovalbac above, but without the hole in the middle. Provides plenty of sculpted back support without looking too big on the bike. Works in both the rider or passenger seating area on virtually all Corbin saddle models. Like the Standard Ovalbac show above, but with a larger contact area for added support. Works great as a passenger backrest in Dual Touring models. Because of the added width, we do not recommend this model in the front position while carrying a passenger... it may interfere with their legs. Sculpted to provide wide ergonomic support. This model is specially designed to be used in the large Dual Touring seats (like HD Baggers) or in Master's Type saddles as found on the Goldwings. Sculpted for extended support both vertically and horizontally, but cut away at the bottom to provide clearance for passenger's legs. If you want the functionality of a backrest, but also want the smallest appearance possible, this is the backrest model for you. This one is most often used as a rider's backrest in Gunfighter seat models (thus the name). Includes a variety of finishing plate options for the rear. *More Info*
A convenient storage solution that looks great too. Corbin's Glove Box bolts up easily to your #02-S(B) model backrest in place of the rear finishing plate to provide four liters of locking storage. PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
