As a part of our modular seating system, we have created this very slick Smuggler trunk design that will integrate with either the Corbin front saddle or your stock front seat. This allows you to easily convert your bike from solo to dual using your existing key lock system. Smuggler provides a very clean, integrated look and the most convenient storage available. Our unique mounting system allows all components to work with your stock key lock system for hassle free conversion. Up front, the enhanced ergonomics of our front saddle creates a perch that provides long range, sport touring comfort.
Naturally we've built the Smuggler to fit perfectly to the lines of the FJR to create an integrated look. Our patented molding process and exclusive materials create a part with very minimal variation from piece to piece so we can design a precision fit to the bodywork. Naturally, the Corbin wizards have designed a shape that picks up and enhances the lines of your bike. Smuggler comes prepainted to coordinate with your stock paint (please specify color) and provides a secure area to stow essentials.
Smuggler's capacity of 11.5 liters helps to keep all your essential gear handy. That's more than enough room for keys, maps, spare gloves, cell phone, PDA, bottled water.... there's even enough room for your digital camera in there (even an SLR!) You'll find the Smuggler so convenient that you'll be getting stuff out of it every time you stop your bike. Naturally it comes fully finished to coordinate with your stock paint color so the looks are spectacular right out of the box.
Front saddle uses our exclusive high-density Comfort Cell foam that allows us to build a supportive saddle without a bulky shape. Corbin's Wizards are masters at combining form and function into a saddle that makes you as happy to look at as it does to ride on. Notice how the bucket is designed to emulate the shape of your body. This gives excellent support for longer range. Neutralized seating helps to curb sliding in the saddle which greatly reduces rider fatigue. Our front saddle can be used with the Corbin rear seat, Smuggler trunk or your stock rear seat. When using the Corbin rear seat, a passenger backrest is also available for your copilot's comfort and security.
We include your choice of color options for looks from outrageous to stealthy. We've created a cover design and stitch pattern that coordinates with the FJR perfectly and adds to the visual appeal. Shown here we've used black leather seating panels with Asphalt vinyl side panels, but the whole range of leather and vinyl options are included at no additional charge. Leather seating offers durability and a luxurious ride that breathes with your body and will adapt with the foam shape during break in.
For those chilly morning rides, the Corbin front seat has the option of electric heating. Our seat wires easily into your fusebox and maintains the proper temperature automatically through an integrated controller. Simply flip the conveniently located switch along the left side of the saddle and enjoy the warmth. Comes completely preinstalled in the saddle and you need only integrate the included pigtail to your fuse box. Because of the two piece design, front and back saddle (if used) have separate switches that run through a dual pigtail.
Pictures just don't do it justice. When you see in person how well the trunk is integrated to the FJR bodywork, you'll be amazed. Notice how closely the Corbin designers were able to make the Smuggler fit to the complex shaping of the FJR tail section. The graceful, aerodynamic looks have been kept true for the best possible visual appeal. Smuggler is constructed of our durable Fibertech material for a fine finish and long term durability.
11.5+ liter storage area. Smuggler comes fully lined to help protect your cargo and cushion some of the road noise. Naturally, the door opening is fully weather stripped to guard against foul weather as well. Locking door keeps things secure and simple to access. Our new stainless steel hinge mechanism allows the door to open very wide to keep it out of the way when stowing your gear.
Corbin's Smuggler trunk was designed with the Sport Touring enthusiast in mind. Since storage always seems to be an issue for touring, we made sure that our Smuggler would work properly with the Givi topcase installed. There are two models of the Givi topcase available and we show our Smuggler here working with the larger one. Naturally the smaller Givi topcase works fine too. Notice, the Smuggler door will open & close with the Givi topcase installed and there is no need to remove the trunk to access the Smuggler.

Fibertech Construction
Smuggler is manufactured of our exclusive Fibertech™ material for durability and a clean finish. Specially formulated for Corbin, Fibertech™ gives us very tight tolerances with minimal shrinkage so each part comes out true to the original design.
Finish
We use a quality gel-coat for a nice finish that doesn't show material weave. This model is available prepainted to coordinate with your stock paint.

Corbin Smuggler comes fully lined with a nice, thick grey liner on the inside to protect your cargo. Sure seal weather stripping around the doors keeps out the elements. Locking door keeps contents secure.

Front saddle mounts very easily and uses your existing key lock with brackets preinstalled on the saddle.
The Smuggler trunk or rear saddle bolts down to the subframe and the front seat latches on your bike like stock. Corbin components will interchange and work with your stock seat components.

PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
