Corbin's modular system is all about convenience... well, it's all about convenience AND comfort. Our modular seat system is a two piece saddle design that provides comfort for you and a passenger. When traveling alone, you can remove the passenger seat and replace it with our Smuggler trunk for convenient, locking storage.
Our saddles greatly enhance comfort by ergonomically dispersing your weight over a greater area. Built up of Corbin's Comfort CellŪ Space foam to provide miles of supportive comfort for longer riding range. Our exclusive foam material feels firm at first, but doesn't break down like the stock foam keeping your body supported indefinitely.
After an initial break-in period, the Corbin seat will adapt to your body to provide an even greater degree of comfort and weight distribution. Additionally, the rider's seating position has been neutralized to reduce the tendency to slide towards the tank under braking. Notice also how the seat is shaped to provide support for your legs while your feet are on the footpegs, but is shaved in the nose area to allow good ground reach.
In the rear, our passenger seat is engineered to accept an optional removable passenger backrest for added comfort and support. Choose from a range of styles to suit your taste and the amount of support desired. Backrests are fully adjustable to provide a tailored fit to copilots posture and install or remove easily when desired. Please note, our backrest will not work with the Suzuki trunk installed on your bike.
Smuggler Trunk is another original Corbin idea! Simply remove the rear seat and replace it with the Smuggler trunk to instantly add convenient, locking storage. For best looks, Smuggler comes prepainted to coordinate with your factory paint. We've built the Smuggler to fit perfectly to the lines of the bike to create an integrated, factory look. Slick details pick up the details and lend a bit more flair. Installation and removal is simple using the Suzuki lock system.
Smuggler's capacity is enough for all the items you want to keep handy. There's more than enough room for keys, maps, spare gloves, cell phone, PDA, bottled water.... There's even enough room for your digital camera in there. You'll find the Smuggler so convenient that you'll be getting stuff out of it every time you stop your bike. The Smuggler Trunk comes fully finished and prepainted to coordinate with your stock paint color so the looks are spectacular right out of the box. Inside the trunk is lined to protect your cargo.
All components are engineered to fit perfect to the tank, chassis and tail section. Manufactured with a fibertech basepan for unsurpassed fit, Corbin's seat rides on rubber bumpers to protect the motorcycle's paint job. We include all brackets required for installation. Once the bracket is in place, the rear seat & Smuggler can easily be swapped out using the OEM key lock.
All Corbin saddles come standard with genuine leather seating inserts for a true touch of luxury. For the V-Strom, we recommend our Carbon Fiber laminated leather seating with Asphalt vinyl sides for a nice accent. Leather will provide a seating surface that breathes with your body and will adapt with the foam during break in for a perfectly personalized fit. Just be sure to care for it properly with a quality leather conditioner like our Saddle Cream to help it age gracefully and remain weather resistant.

Installation is simple. We include a bracket that relocates the Suzuki key lock to work with the Corbin two piece system. Once this bracket is in place, you can remove the saddles &/or Smuggler using the stock key lock.

Our most popular backrest model is the perfect blend of form and function. The size looks visually appropriate on most every seat yet is large enough to provide good, sculpted support. The standard Corbin backrest for years! This model is the same size and shape as the Standard Ovalbac above, but without the hole in the middle. Provides plenty of sculpted back support without looking too big on the bike. Works in both the rider or passenger seating area on virtually all Corbin saddle models. Like the Standard Ovalbac show above, but with a larger contact area for added support. Works great as a passenger backrest in Dual Touring models. This model is specially designed to be used in the large Dual Touring seats (like HD Baggers) or in Master's Type saddles as found on the Goldwings. Sculpted for extended support both vertically and horizontally, but cut away at the bottom to provide clearance for passenger's legs. If you want the functionality of a backrest, but also want the smallest appearance possible, this is the backrest model for you. This one is most often used as a rider's backrest in Gunfighter seat models (thus the name). Includes a variety of finishing plate options for the rear. *More Info*
A convenient storage solution that looks great too. Corbin's Glove Box bolts up easily to your #02-S(B) model backrest in place of the rear finishing plate to provide four liters of locking storage. Available in primer or pre-painted. Some color matches are available depending on bike make and model. Comes fully lined too! *More Info*

PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
