Super Motard is one of the hottest trends in the industry today. The Wizards in our custom ride-in department have been making special seat models for motard conversions made from KTMs, Suzuki DRs, Honda XRs and just about anything else you can think of (and who wouldn't love a street bike with twelve inches of suspension travel anyway?) If you've got one of these factory KTM Super-Motos, then our fast looking Motard model is probably just the right seat model for you.
Hooligan bikes have gotta look tough and that's half the fun of this seat model. Notice how we've tapered the rear section of the seat into the fender and color coordinated it for a totally integrated look. This "tail section" we've built up also gives you a nice bump pad to sit into and helps keep you in position on the bike. Seating platform is totally neutralized to curb sliding in the saddle which eliminates fatigue over the long run.
The other half of the equation is the legendary Corbin comfort. Inside the saddle we use a proprietary foam material called Comfort Cell that provides a firm, resilient ride that lasts. Developed especially for Corbin and our patented manufacturing technique, Comfort Cell can be cast to the density best suited for each saddle design. This allows us to make each saddle provide just the right amount of support... too soft and you feel like you're bouncing off the basepan, too hard and you may as well be sitting on the fender.
Casting our foam allows us to design complex shapes that conform to the contours of your body. We call this "ergonomic shaping" and it gives you more square inches of body contact for better weight dispersion. This shaping also helps to eliminate pressure points and hot spots created by flat seats and soft foam. Towards the nose we keep the shape narrow to aid ground reach.
On top we use only the highest grade of weather resistant materials for durability and long life. You know we couldn't stop there, so we dressed it up in a Carbon-Fiber embossed vinyl seating and color coordinating orange tail section. Cover is completely hand sewn and riveted to our rigid Fibertech basepan. Naturally, the material selection is completely up to you even is you just want a plain black saddle... we aim to please. Saddle installs using your existing latch and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your bodywork and chassis.
Inside we use our high density Comfort CellŪ foam for firm support that won't break down while you're riding. Comfort cellŪ is one of the critical elements to Corbin's legendary saddle comfort. All Corbin saddles (with very little exception) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.... don't let anybody tell you that vinyl is just as good! You wouldn't buy vinyl boots would you?
PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available.
