Corbin’s Gunfighter & Lady seat for the VFR 800 is an exercise in design versatility. This model works with your Honda seat cowling, with the passenger handrails &/or with our removable backrest for added passenger comfort. We've engineered our backrest to install into hardware concealed in the saddle for a very clean look. Our trademark embroidered tag covers the backrest insertion point in passenger area for a very clean look.
Both seating positions offer a more ergonomically sculpted platform for a better fit to your body and improved weight distribution. Neutralized seating posture curbs the tendency to slide in the saddle which helps to reduce rider fatigue. The seat is built up with our Comfort Cell® foam to provide a firm supportive ride mile after mile and is covered in genuine leather for a luxurious look and feel. On the model shown here, we've used our Carbon-Fiber leather in the seating panels and our coordinated Carbon-Fiber embossed vinyl in the side panels. Vinyl side panels stay looking sharp longer and help to support the foam shape, keeping your saddle tight.
We now use genuine leather seating in virtually all of our saddle models. Leather provides a nice perch that breathes with your body and will adapt with the foam shape during break in for a personalized fit. Over time, leather will mature to take on its own unique character, just be sure to care for it properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. Your seat will be your riding buddy for years.
Corbin's removable backrest is now available in a range of styles to suit your taste. The #02-S Ovalbac design (shown above) comes color coordinated to your saddle for a truly custom look and even has the option of a variety of rear finishing plates. We even offer a finishing plate with a Carbon Fiber look for a totally integrated design. These custom options are all included! Just click over to the Accessories tab for complet information.
Corbin's Interceptor saddle installs on your bike like stock with hardware preinstalled on the seat. Your seat cowling installs onto the Corbin seat just like the original one with two screws into the basepan under the saddle.
I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my new saddle. I got it for my 2002 Honda VFR800, and I was amazed at the difference it made.
With no change in my bike's set up, the bumps that usually rattle my teeth were smoothed out significantly. It is 100 times more comfortable than the original saddle. It gives me a better riding position. It take the pressure off my hands by moving me closer to the hand grips and allowing me a more up right riding position. I didn't show any signs of fatigue after a ride. I know now I can make longer trips with less stops to rest up. And did I say how good looking and well made it is? But, you already know that.
I know now why people want a Corbin saddle for their bike!
Thanks
Randy
