Corbin now offers an awesome pair of seats for the Tuono. Designed specially to provide the comfort riders demand for longer range and sport touring comfort. Engineered to provide the perfect blend of comfort and the usual Corbin sleek styling with a range of custom options to create a unique look on your bike. Naturally, the fit and finish are perfected and pure Corbin.
Up front, the neutralized seating posture helps to reduce the tendency to slide forward in the saddle while on the brakes. This will greatly enhance your riding range by reducing strain on your wrists and knees. Corbin saddles are designed to help hold you in the sweet-spot on the bike but still allows for a range of movement for more spirited riding styles. Notice the ergonomic dish shaping of the seat. This provides you more square inches of body contact and better weight dispersion.
We've greatly enhanced comfort by building the saddle up with our high density Comfort Cell® foam, but kept the racetrack styling and fit to tail section. Not only is the shaping already designed to fit the contour of the human body, but our exclusive foam material will adapt to take on your shape upon break in. Our exclusive high density material allows us to build a seating platform that provides good support even with a low profile appearance.
Corbin's patented manufacturing process allows us to create a shape that fits perfectly to the bike and contours every arc and curve of the tank and tail section. Our Fibertech basepan provides a rigid foundation that supports the foam shape to assure the carefully crafted ergonomics remain intact. Underneath, the baseplate rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint job from scratching.
For your copilot we've built up a nice sculpted perch that flows with the shape of the tail section and molds over the tail light. Notice how we've shaped the saddle to provide sculpted support and weight dispersion similar to the front seat. This will give your passenger many miles of comfortable riding. Also like the front seat, we've neutralized the posture to help curb sliding forward in the saddle.
Leather seating panels are included along with a wide range of decorating options (shown here with Carbon-Fiber leather seating and Asphalt vinyl sides). Our leather seating provides a unique look, excellent comfort and will also break in along with your foam shape to give you a personalized fit over time. Coordinating vinyl sides keep the foam shape tight and the saddle looking sharp longer. Be sure to care for your leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. Your leather will age gracefully and develop its own unique character with proper care.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell... more comfort for a longer ride! Just click the button at left for an animation that shows how it works.
PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material. To see what this is all about, just click the button for More Info
GENUINE LEATHER: We use leather in all panels of the seat that contact your body. This provides a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape to support the personalized fit. Available in a wide range of textures and styles to suit your taste. Corbin's front saddle installs like stock with bracket premounted on the seat. Simply slide the saddle onto the bike nose first engaging the tongue. Lower the seat into position and secure to the bike with the stock bolts under the corners of the seat.
Passenger seat installs like stock with latch pin preinstalled that integrates with your Aprilia key lock.
NOTE: This rear saddle does not accept a removable backrest as there is not enough structural support under the seat to safely bear the load or leverage of a passenger's weight on a backrest. Sorry
