Rizoma bars + Corbin saddle have really cleaned up the cockpit ergonomics. I'm 187cm, fairly gangly, and the stock configuration gave me only one decent seating position: all the way back. Even then, it was an unnatural motion to tuck my head into the little slipstream bubble provided by the cowl.

First ride around the block (crummy Northeastern weather be damned), I notice the Corbin seat invites me into two distinct positions. Low speed, I can scoot a bit forward to get my thighs around the tank and plant my feet a bit firmer. The Corbin helps here by blending better with the tank's curves. Throttling back, my hips slot back into the palm of the seat, and overall seating becomes lower and more rearward than the stock seat by perhaps 2cm. Combined with the bars the overall rider triangle is more sporty, while of course maintaining the bike's original UJM chassis geometry.

Materials are top notch, I notice a few small eccentricities to the shape of the pan and the flow of the stitching which indicate everything was hand-designed and laid. Some might want something more synthetic-feeling in terms of tolerances, but personally I feel I have enough machine-honed edges in my life, and I appreciate the care and attention a handmade piece requires.

But of course, I say all this with the caveat that I've spent perhaps 30 minutes riding it. Hopefully the weather will clear and I'll have some nicer shots to share soon!
