Enhanced, ergonomically sculpted seating with improved ground reach! The big Yamaha muscle bike can be a handful so we figured a little extra confidence in ground reach would be appreciated. We've accomplished this mostly through careful shaping of the saddle so we were able to keep a nice, relaxed seat to peg distance as well. This adds up to a lot more comfort and confidence so you'll love your V-Max more than ever.
Inside the saddle our Comfort Cell foam provides firm support that keeps its resilience indefinitely. The Corbin seating platform is dished to fit the shape of your body and provide more square inches of body contact. This helps to eliminate hot spots and means you'll be riding in comfort for more miles than you ever expected. The only limiting factor now will be the capacity of your fuel tank!
For simplicity, we've designed the Corbin front saddle to work with the hinged fuel door cover from the stock seat. Transferring the cover to the Corbin seat is a fairly simple procedure that can be accomplished with common hand tools. Complete instructions are included and also supplied below if you'd like to see what's involved ahead of time. Our front saddle is designed to work with either of the Corbin rear pillion seats or with your stock Yamaha passenger seat. On top, Corbin uses only the finest materials for a custom look that will last. On these seat components we use a new material called Carbonite to integrate visually with the stock V-Max components. Combined with our Asphalt vinyl and red stitching and each of the Corbin components can be mixed with stock pieces and look great. This allows you to get just the parts you want for your riding needs.
On the back of the Corbin sissy bar pad and backrest models, we use a Carbon-Fiber look ABS to further integrate the components visually with the V-Max. These material selections were made to best coordinate with the bike, but as with all Corbin products we offer custom choices at no additional charge if desired.
Front seat installation is a cinch with just two bolts under the fuel tank cover just like stock. Our seat reuses the factory, hinged fuel tank cover transferred from your stock seat. All other Corbin seat components come ready to install with brackets included and premounted on the seat. Corbin sissy bar pad mounts directly to the Yamaha sissy bar side rails with hardware integrated into the pad.

As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
