Yamaha said it best... "Welcome to the new ATV World Order." Naturally, they're speaking of their awesome four stroke sport Quad, but we're thinking about the design behind our new lineup of saddles. Generally speaking, original equipment manufacturers are mostly concerned with horsepower, handling and braking... the seat is a measly cushy spot that saves you from shattering your tailbone on the chassis. That's where your buddies at Corbin come in... we're going to make it look cool and feel great.
Comfort is rarely mentioned when discussion of quads is in the air but we're going to change that. We've provided a generously sculpted seating area that offers excellent body support and a wider contact area. This increased body contact relieves hot spots and provides amazing comfort and support. Our high density Comfort Cell foam stays resilient while supporting your body all day. Sure, we know you spend most of your time moving around, but you'll be glad it's there when you're cruising back to camp or just catching your breath.
Rider mobility is a must if you don't want to unexpectedly part company with the bike. So we made sure that you still have full range of motion forward and rearward to control what Yamaha touts as the highest power to weight ratio in its class. Notice also how the front area of the saddle is designed to allow you to hang off the bike and take advantage of its already excellent center of gravity. Our unique material selection not only looks cool, but also provides a nice grippy surface for these moves.
Notice how well the Corbin saddle integrates with the YFZ bodywork and fits perfect. Our rigid Fibertech basepan material provides a firm foundation for the ergonomically corrected foam shaping, but also gives us extremely tight manufacturing tolerances that allows a tighter fit to bodywork. On top we use a range of specialized materials for excellent grip and a very nice custom look. A wide range of color options are included at no extra charge for a totally custom look.
Here we've used our Black Husky seating material which is a rubber backed fabric material that gives a good weather resistant cover with good grip. On the edges you'll see our new Asphalt material that adds even more grip to the seating surface in a subtle offsetting texture for looks. In the side panel we've used our unique Silver Carbon-Fiber embossed vinyl strictly for visual effect. Depending on your bike's color and personal taste, you may prefer Black, Charcoal, Red or Blue Carbon-Fiber instead. Too keep it looking sharp, use our Saddle Cream... it's great for all leather and vinyl products!
Again, notice how well the Corbin design fits to the body for a very clean look... stock nylon basepans are too flexible for this kind of fitment. For added convenience, we incorporated a new key lock mounting system as you can see here. Corbin's quad saddle comes ready to install right out of the box with all brackets and required hardware supplied. Simply replace a single bolt with our stainless steel latch pin and you're ready to mount your new saddle and hit the trail!

COMFORT CELL® FOAM: The heart of the Corbin saddle! Our exclusive, purpose built foam material, called Comfort Cell, was created to provide a firm, resilient ride that doesn't break down. This means it will support you for long days on the road. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in to provide a personalized fit to your posture and even greater comfort! For the complete story just click the button.
ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell... more comfort for a longer ride! Just click the button at left for an animation that shows how it works.
PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material. To see what this is all about, just click the button for More Info
FIBERTECH™ BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. Click on the button at left to learn more...
