Classic Solo provides a vintage touch with incredible comfort gains. Ergonomic shaping in the seating platform means that your saddle is shaped like you are and will fit your body better and provide excellent weight dispersion. We've eliminated the pressure off your tail bone and built up support in the sides which equates to long range comfort and no hot-spots! For your passenger we offer two different pillion pads depending on the type of riding and degree of comfort desired. Shown above, the Touring Pillion has a similar design with ergonomic shaping for long range comfort and support.
Corbin's Classic Solo is designed to accept our removable rider's backrest for added vertical support. Shown here with our #02-S backrest, the Classic solo offers a full 12 inches of adjustable back support. You can use any of the backrest models to suit your taste, but the #02-S gives you excellent support and looks visually correct on the bike. Corbin's backrests adjust easily and install in your saddle with a single set screw under the seat. We even contour our backrests to provide anatomically designed support!
If you prefer a sleeker look on your bike, just change out the Touring Pillion for our "Hollywood Pillion" shown here. This model is built extremely low to keep a slick profile yet is built up with our high density foam to retain resiliency. This is a great setup for short to mid range passengers or those that ride with you infrequently. Our purpose built Comfort Cell® foam material provides a surprisingly comfortable platform even with such a low profile. Naturally, either pillion comes decorated to coordinate with your Classic Solo for a totally integrated look.
Corbin saddles are built with our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam to provide a firm, supportive perch for longer riding range. Your new saddle may feel firm when you first ride on it, but unlike your stock seat, it won't crush down and lose support. Instead, Comfort Cell® is molded to fit the shape of the human body and will actually break in to take on the rider's shape over time. This creates a totally personalized fit to your posterior. Combine this with the luxury of leather seating and you have a saddle that you'll enjoy for many years to come... and untold miles!
Classic solo and pillions come standard with genuine leather seating for a luxurious ride that will breath with your body. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape and conform to your body. We offer a wide range of styles and colors to choose from to suit your taste and include chrome studs if you like (please specify when ordering). Over three and a half decades have gone into the design of the Corbin saddle. In that time we have tested just about every material possible and have found the combination of Comfort Cell® foam and genuine leather seating to have no equal. Insist on a genuine Corbin saddle for your ride!
If you want to show off that Warrior rear fender, you can run the Classic solo by itself without a passenger pillion seat. Passenger saddles bolt directly to the Warrior fender and the Classic Solo mounts to your bike with the key lock, so changing back and forth is a snap. In this photo, we've removed the pillion mounting brackets from the fender to keep things clean. We've found that some chrome button head bolts in the screw holes (left from the brackets) is a fast and easy fix.
Another bit of customization available for your bike is the interchangable finishing plates available for the Ovalbac® series backrests. Our standard back plate is an ABS black leather look, but we also offer Carbon-Fiber look, Aluminum look or even primer if you'd like to get yours custom painted. For a little extra, we can provide one prepainted gloss black or our new chromed steel plate (shown). The chromed plate gives your Warrior very distinctive touch. Finishing plates swap out with just two bolts.
Be sure to care for your saddle properly with a quality leather conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help the leather to remain weather resistant and supple. With good care, your leather saddle will be your riding buddy for many years and give you many miles of enjoyment. Over time, the leather will break in and develop its own unique character just like your leather jacket and boots do. Just be sure to avoid cleaners and/or conditioners that contain petroleum products or kerosene as they will damage the hide!

This means it will support you for long days on the road. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in to provide a personalized fit to your posture and even greater comfort! ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell... more comfort for a longer ride! Just click the button at left for an animation that shows how it works.
PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material. To see what this is all about, just click the button for More Info
GENUINE LEATHER: We use leather in all panels of the seat that contact your body. This provides a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape to support the personalized fit. Available in a wide range of textures and styles to suit your taste. Take good care of your new seat and the seat will take good care of you. Designed to help your leather saddle remain weather resistant and keeps the hide supple. This will allow the leather to break in and age gracefully. Great for boots, gloves & jackets too. Simple rub-in, buff out application. *More Info*
Our most popular backrest model is the perfect blend of form and function. The size looks visually appropriate on most every seat yet is large enough to provide good, sculpted support. Works well in either the rider's or passenger's position. The standard Ovalbac is available with a range of finishing plate options to dress up the rear including chrome! *More Info*
The standard Corbin backrest for years! This model is the same size and shape as the Standard Ovalbac above, but without the hole in the middle. Provides plenty of sculpted back support without looking too big on the bike. Works in both the rider or passenger seating area on virtually all Corbin saddle models. This model also has the option of chrome studs if desired. *More Info*
Like the Standard Ovalbac show above, but with a larger contact area for added support. Works great as a passenger backrest in Dual Touring models. Because of the added width, we do not recommend this model in the front position while carrying a passenger... it may interfere with their legs. Sculpted to provide wide ergonomic support. Offers a variety of finishing plate options to customize the rear (sorry, no chrome). *More Info*
This model is specially designed to be used in the large Dual Touring seats (like HD Baggers) or in Master's Type saddles as found on the Goldwings. Sculpted for extended support both vertically and horizontally, but cut away at the bottom to provide clearance for passenger's legs. A variety of finishing plate options are available to customize the rear. *More Info*
If you want the functionality of a backrest, but also want the smallest appearance possible, this is the backrest model for you. This one is most often used as a rider's backrest in Gunfighter seat models (thus the name). Includes a variety of finishing plate options for the rear. *More Info*
A convenient storage solution that looks great too. Corbin's Glove Box bolts up easily to your #02-S(B) model backrest in place of the rear finishing plate to provide four liters of locking storage. Available in primer or pre-painted. Some color matches are available depending on bike make and model. Comes fully lined too! *More Info*
