Corbin has taken a whole new approach to the posterior perch for quads. We know you don't spend a lot of time with your butt planted on the seat when you're out tearing up the trails, but in your leisurely moments you'll be happy to find a nice comfortable place to plant your tush so you can recoup some energy. Besides the obvious benefits of a more comfortable seat, we've made it look nice too with a host of custom options all included.
Here's how it works... Towards the rear of the seat, you'll find a wider, more level seating platform. This shape eliminates the centralized body pressure caused by the stock unit and gives you more square inches of body contact. More contact equals less hot spots! Our neutralized seating makes it easier to slide fore and aft which gives you greater control over the bike. Of course we've made the shaping toward the front to allow you to hang off in the corners as needed.
Notice how the shape of the seat makes a smooth transition up the tank and towards the bars. Again, this supports your ability to move around on the bike and get forward on those hill climbs. Our rigid Fibertech basepan material helps us to maintain tight manufacturing tolerances which equates to a perfect fit to the body groove of the bike. Naturally, installation is a snap.
When you get a chance to just putt along and catch your breath, slide your body towards the rear and take advantage of the wide contoured seating area. We've dished it out to better fit the shape of your body and provide ergonomic support. On top, we're created a cover pattern that looks custom without being overbearing and we use only the finest, colorfast and durable materials available. From this side, you can also see the key lock system we use for installation.
Again, notice the precision fit of the Corbin basepan to the bodywork of the Raptor. Our patented molding and manufacturing processes allow us to create a part that fits close to the body for a very clean look. Stock nylon basepans are too flexible for this kind of fitment. Our quad saddle comes with a special latch bracket that installs easily and replaces a single bolt in your chassis. Once the latch pin is installed, your new seat will mount and remove with the built in key lock along the right side.
Our grippy "Black Husky" seat insert is a durable fabric material backed with rubber for comfort and water resistance. Over the edges we use our new Asphalt black material and along the sides a Silver Carbon-Fiber embossed vinyl for a custom touch. We also offer this Carbon-Fiber material in Blue, Red, Black or Charcoal to coordinate with your quad at no extra charge. Look as custom or as subtle as you want! To care for the materials on your new Corbin, we recommend our Saddle Cream... excellent for vinyl and leather!

COMFORT CELL® FOAM: The heart of the Corbin saddle! Our exclusive, purpose built foam material, called Comfort Cell, was created to provide a firm, resilient ride that doesn't break down. This means it will support you for long days on the road. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in to provide a personalized fit to your posture and even greater comfort! ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. In a nutshell... more comfort for a longer ride! Just click the button at left for an animation that shows how it works.
PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material. To see what this is all about, just click the button for More Info
FIBERTECH™ BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. Click on the button at left to learn more...

Installation: Corbin's Raptor saddle installs very easily using our unique key lock system built into the seat. All brackets and hardware is included so saddle is ready for installation right out of the box.
Simply remove the stock bolt from the location shown here. Your latch pin should have come pre-assembled as shown with a jamb nut inside the plastic spacer. If not, assemble it as shown and tighten the nut against the spacer.
Using the included body washer over your tail section as shown, secure the latch pin in place and tighten securely with a 7/16" open end wrench. We highly recommend the use of loctite or a similar threadlock to assure latch pin will not work itself out with use.
