2006-2007 Front & Rear saddles for Suzuki Boulevard M109 R
First impression... "Wow! It's like a Hayabusa cruiser!" Second impression... "Whoa, I can't reach the ground and my arse hurts." (We say this with the utmost respect of course.)
The Suzuki designers did a fantastic job on the Boulevard power cruiser and we've designed a two piece saddle to enhance the looks and functionality. Our saddle system can easily convert from solo to dual riding and works with your factory seat cowling. The Corbin system consists of the following components: Front Saddle, Passenger Saddle, Adjustable Passenger backrest and a backrest Glovebox option. The perfect blend of form and function that's as easy to use as turning a key.
Front Saddle: Corbin's rider seat offers improved ergonomics that give proper weight distribution. This sculpted seating area fits the shape of your body and helps to eliminate hot spots and the centralized pressure you feel from the stock unit. We sculpt this model as low as possible with a much narrower nose to provide the best ground reach possible. The platform has been neutralized to curb sliding towards the tank under braking which also helps to reduce fatigue. All this comfort is wrapped up in a package that fits perfectly to the bodywork of the bike for an integrated look and clean visual appearance.
Rear Saddle: For your passenger we've also designed an ergonomically correct seat for touring class support. Wide sculpted seating provides a contact patch of roughly 130 square inches so your passenger can rack up the mileage with you in comfort. For additional support and an added feeling of security, our passenger seat also accepts a removable backrest. Corbin backrests are simple to install and lock in place with a single bolt. Naturally they're adjustable to provide a tailored fit to your copilot's posture.
Removable backrest: The removable backrest is a Corbin invention from over a decade ago. We now offer a variety of backrest styles to suit your needs and personal taste. On this bike, we recommend the #02-S Ovalbac backrest for the best combination of form and function. Sculpted to fit the shape of your passenger's body, providing a huge contact area for excellent support. Backrest angle can be easily adjusted without removing it from the seat so you spend your time enjoying the bike, not wrenching it. Naturally, Corbin backrests are covered in the same materials as your saddle for a totally coordinated look.
Both Saddles: For an added bit of luxury on your Boulevard, we've designed the front and rear saddles with the option of electric heat! Simple to install with all components built into the saddles, you just have to install a simple wiring pigtail on your bike and enjoy the heat. A great feature to have when you're taking off early in the morning to beat the traffic! Convenient switch is located on the left side of the saddle with two heat settings. Once on, the saddle will warm up and maintain temperature automatically though an integrated controller. Both front and rear seats are available heated (or non-heated) and have separate switches to control them.
Corbin's front and rear seats work in conjunction with your stock front and rear seats or seat cowl if desired. This allows you to choose only the components that apply to your needs.
We use our exclusive high-density Comfort Cell foam that allows us to build a supportive saddle without a bulky shape. Corbin's Wizards are masters at combining form and function into a saddle that makes you as happy to look at as it does to ride on. On top, we include genuine leather seating in choice of styles for looks from outrageous to stealthy. Shown here, both saddles are pictured with black standard leather seating and Asphalt vinyl sides. Also notice the backrest is covered in the same materials for visual coordination.
Want to add some locking storage? Corbin's glovebox is an excellent solution for all your quick-access stuff. Simply replace the finishing plate on the Ovalbac model backrest and you've just added four liters of locking storage capacity. It's plenty for a couple bottles of water, cell phone, spare gloves, maps and other incidentals. Constructed of durable ABS plastic and available plain black or prepainted.

Our most popular backrest model is the perfect blend of form and function. The size looks visually appropriate on most every seat yet is large enough to provide good, sculpted support. The standard Corbin backrest for years! This model is the same size and shape as the Standard Ovalbac above, but without the hole in the middle. Provides plenty of sculpted back support without looking too big on the bike. Works in both the rider or passenger seating area on virtually all Corbin saddle models. Like the Standard Ovalbac show above, but with a larger contact area for added support. Works great as a passenger backrest in Dual Touring models. This model is specially designed to be used in the large Dual Touring seats (like HD Baggers) or in Master's Type saddles as found on the Goldwings. Sculpted for extended support both vertically and horizontally, but cut away at the bottom to provide clearance for passenger's legs. If you want the functionality of a backrest, but also want the smallest appearance possible, this is the backrest model for you. This one is most often used as a rider's backrest in Gunfighter seat models (thus the name). Includes a variety of finishing plate options for the rear. *More Info*
A convenient storage solution that looks great too. Corbin's Glove Box bolts up easily to your #02-S(B) model backrest in place of the rear finishing plate to provide four liters of locking storage. PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
