Summer Greets,
As you'll notice from the attached image, this week's newsletter has a different Red, White and Blue theme than usual. Instead of the Stars & Stripes it's the Union Jack!
Why? Because we've got some hot new stuff for Triumph motorcycles this week... it just seemed to make sense.
* OUR JUNE WINNER
Congrats out to Joe Olivera! Joe responded in the nick of time to
claim the prize for June and scored a $300 Corbin Gift Certificate.
Our next drawing is just a week away and you may be next! All you
have to do is look for your name in this spot next week. If you
read this newsletter, you are automatically entered to win. Good
luck!

* MOTO GP
Nicky does it again! Winning the US Gran Prix for the second year
in a row, American Nicky Hayden is solidifying his lead in the
series. Currently standing 34 points ahead of team-mate Dani
Pedrosa and 51 points ahead of defending champ Valentino Rossi, Nicky may truly be America's next GP champion. With six rounds still to go in the series he's still got a lot of work to do.
As a side note, Hayden is the first rider to take a GP victory at Laguna Seca after NOT starting in the front row. Good job
Nicky and thanks for the thrills! Next round is scheduled for
August 20 - Brno, Czech Republic... set your Tivo!
* NEW CORBIN WEBSITE COUNTDOWN
This week we're finalizing some of the content and will be testing
our new website in-house on our tech staff. If all goes smoothly
we're hoping to have the new Corbin.com online at the end of the
month! It's been a long, uphill battle but we think the wait will
be worth it.
Corbin has been online for a decade now and this new site marks
our first departure from the universal-works-everywhere mindset
that has been a standard from day one. Stay tuned, it's just a
few days away now!
* RALLY SCHEDULE
Despite the heat wave troubling California, the MotoGP was incredible. Now we're packing up the truck and headed for:
Sturgis Rally & Races
Sturgis, SD
August 5 - 13, 2006 (roughly)
Well gang we've got some website testing to do so we're keeping
this missive short. Talk to you next week and as always, keep the
Corbin side up!
Chuck
