* DA ROOLZ
As promised last week, here's a review of how the monthly prize
drawing works. If you're a veteran of my ramblings, then you can
go ahead and skip this part 'cause you already know the drill.
1. We pull a name at random from our subscriber list at the end of
every month.
2. That name is published in our newsletter in a spot similar to this one. It will be clearly marked to alleviate confusion.
3. The lucky winner is NOT notified by any means other than their
name appearing in this message. That's right, we're trying to make
you actually read this. HA HA!
4. If your name is pulled, you have two weeks to send me a response message and claim your prize. If I don't hear from you within the two weeks, we'll pull a new name and you're S-O-L.
5. Simple right? OK, good luck and thanks for reading!
* CORBIN'S RIDE-ON
The crew was here filming last week for an upcoming episode of the
show. I'm perpetually amazed by their ability to handle adverse
conditions and make due with what's on-hand (I never knew that
bubble wrap was a video tool). Hat's off to Mike Alvey, John and
Ilene for their hard work and creativity. Also, a special thanks to our new friends Kelley and Adam for their support and patience
during our whole Roadliner adventure. Kelley let us borrow her brand spankin' new bike for THREE MONTHS so we could tool up!
Thanks, thanks & thanks again!
By the way, you'll see Kelley riding the fully Corbinized Pearl
White Roadliner in the Corbin episode. Check your local listings
for times and this address for current schedule:

* NEPOTISM
You've seen it a million times I'm sure... Modeling jobs filled by
a person who's only qualification was being related to someone. Same with acting gigs, photo jobs, just about everything. I honestly
can't say it always works out so well, but this time is different.
Why? Because it's MY daughter of course!
The darling red-head (I told you I'm Irish) will appear along with
Kelley and our new Sales Manager Dan in a upcoming episode of Corbin's Ride-On. No, I don't have a point... just excited.
* A LOOK ON THE INSIDE
Just to give you an idea of what it's like to work here... We're a small, privately held company so many folks (like yer dear pal Chuck) wear a lot of hats and keep very busy. The ability
to multi-task while running in a hundred directions simultaneously
is a vital skill set (second is the ability to control an ulcer).
But the rewards...
While in the middle of the Ride-On shoot that dominated three days
of my schedule, I went crawling into Mike's office. "Hey dude, I know that I'm almost three months behind in getting the new web
site online, but I need to take a personal day."
"OK, when? And can I ask why?"
"Ummm... Tomorrow. And... errr... Do you want the truth or would
it be better if I come up with some kind of sob story?"
*silence*
"Oh alright... I've got a track day at Laguna Seca."
"Are you insane?! Of course you can take the day off... have a great time. Next time give me some notice so maybe I can go too."
Yeah... This is a great place to work! Thanks Mike.
* CVO H-D
OK, looks like I've wasted enough of your time this week so I'm gonna wrap this up. Last thing I'd like to mention is that we just
scored a 2006 Harley-Davidson CVO Fatboy. If you haven't seen one of these yet, let me tell you the factory paint is WILD! Right now
we've got Erik working on the design and we'll be offering paint
matched saddlebags and fairings for these bikes! This is a pretty
big deal because, as I mentioned, the paint is wild. Check it out
at the Harley-Davidson website if you get a moment. Or you can just
wait a couple of weeks and we'll show you our setup when it's done.
* RALLY SCHEDULE
Meet up with the Corbin road crew next at:
Laughlin River Run
Laughlin, NV
April 26 - 30, 2006
* OUTTIES
That's it for this week kids. For those of you who may be bothered
by our creative spelling (thanks for not sending me corrections),
I would like to point out that our mailer does NOT have spell checker. So basically, we're flying without a net here.
Besides, in the immortal words of Mark Twain...
"I don't give a damn for a man that can only spell a word one way."
Happy Trails,
Chuck
