HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It was late December since our last newsletter was written, so
please pardon the belated greets. Three scant weeks back in the
saddle (so to speak) and we're starting to see the color of our
desks under the mass of delinquent projects. On the bright side,
we've got a lot of new goodies being released and are bustin'
hump to get the webpages online.
So if you click on over to our New Products page and don't see one
of the items listed below, that's just because you found out about
it before the rest of the world. Check back and we'll have it
there soon.

* DECEMBER WINNER
With only two weeks left before we pull our January winner, here's
the lucky recipient of the December prize.
STEVE SUTTON
OK Steve, drop me a line and you've got yourself a $250 Corbin
Gift Certificate... chuck@corbin.com. Easy as pie!
* A REVIEW OF THE RULES
For those of you who are new to this newsletter, we'll take a
moment to review how this works:
At the end of the month we pull a name at random from our
subscriber list. If you're reading this, then you can win. That
name is published in the newsletter as the official announcement
to the recipient. We do NOT send an additional private mail to the
winner. Yes, you must read Chuck's ramblings to win. Ha Ha!
The winner has two weeks to send me a return e-mail to claim the
prize. The message MUST come from the e-mail address that was used
to receive the newsletter. That's how we verify somebody isn't
trying to snake your prize. If the prize is not claimed in two
weeks, we will pull another name from the hat and somebody else
gets a shot. Simple huh?
For the last several months, the prize has been a $250 Corbin Gift
Certificate. This can and will change eventually as soon as we
dream up a better idea. Good Luck!
* A QUOTE
"The biggest mistake we made was to make it a priority... now
we'll never have the time to work on it." This cynical statement
was uttered by one of our crack marketing team in regards to
development of the new Corbin website. Already several weeks over-
due, they tell me the site is still underway and on the horizon.
Lots of new features and a more friendly interface... since it's
not legal to beat them, I guess we'll just keep waiting.
* ABUNDANT RESPONSES
I was amazed at the number of responses to the last newsletter
where we had the audacity to say "Merry Christmas" instead of the
more generic and banal "Seasons Greetings". I really half expected
to get flamed for it, but you folks were overwhelmingly positive.
Thank You!!!
There WERE a few unsubscribes following that edition, but now that
they're gone the rest of us can talk smack about them behind their
backs. Neener-Neener-Ha-Ha-HA! Just kidding. Yes, there were a
couple of unsubs, but no more than my dry rapier-like wit normally
would chase away in a friday afternoon.
* SHOWTIME
The indoor show circuit is in swing and the 25th annual IMS show
is this weekend at the Jacob Javits Center in New York. Corbin
won't be attending this show as we're in heavy preparation for
the upcoming V-Twin Expo in Cincinatti. This show marks the
beginning of the 2006 season for us and we'll have a truckload of
new stuff to show off to motorcycle dealers from around the world.
Following that we're loading up and headed for Daytona Beach Bike
Week March 3rd - 12th. We hope to see you there.
That's it for this week kids, stay warm!
Chuck
