Saddlebag set for 2006-2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic
Corbin's popular Beetle Bags are designed to fit specific bike models so they're visually integrated and look awesome! Notice how the Corbin bags mimic the shape of the fuel tank and follow the graceful line of the fender. This helps the bags actually enhance the look of the bike rather than just being an add-on. We also design our saddlebags to fit close to the profile of the Vulcan for improved weight handling and aerodynamic efficiency. As you can see, the integrated shape provides a bit of a Hot Rod flair and a look far cleaner than "one shape fits all" style hard luggage.
Both bags feature top loading so contents can't spill out when opened and they will self close in the wind if forgotten. We mold the bags close around the fender rails and in tight to the fender. This allows the bags to carry weight in close where it won't upset your balance. This design also keeps a narrower profile for less width to worry about when lane splitting. Our design team shaped these bags to work with your stock exhaust system, but they will work equally well with any system that has a profile lower than the stock pipe.
Here's a new feature for Corbin bags... Vulcan 900 bags are engineered to work with the Sissy Bar / Passenger Backrest setup or with Corbin's new Streamliner trunk! The interior wall still fits very closely to the shape of the bike, but the Corbin design team worked in the space. If you're not running a sissybar, the look is still very clean using two color matched plugs to fill the sissybar space.
Since the interior wall fits so closely, we can keep the saddlebags narrow and carry the shape around the rear fender. This keeps weight bearing close to the centerline of the bike which helps to maintain a good center of gravity. When loaded properly, you won't even know they're back there while you're riding and the bike remains stable at all speeds. These bags were designed by the same guys that ran Hayabusa saddlebags over 180 mph on the Bonneville Salt Flats.
Constructed of our exclusive Fibertech material for a fine finish and long term durability. Installation is a snap with all required mounting brackets included. Simply install two studs in place of existing bolts in your fender rails and mount our brackets to the passenger foot peg hanger... no drilling or chassis mods! The bags will now secure to the three installation points and you're ready to hit the road.
Corbin Beetle Bags include the bump pad to protect them from passenger's boots while riding. Pad comes pre-installed and covered in our Asphalt vinyl for a nice touch. We are often asked if a full-face helmet will fit inside our bags and we're sorry to say "it will not." Creating a set of bags with enough width to hold a full face helmet, would have made them extremely wide which would make them unstable at higher speeds. However, their 30+ liter capacity (per side) will provide plenty of room for a weekend getaway or daily commute.
Both bags come completely lined to protect your cargo and feature locking doors for security. Molded to fit perfect with your stock turn signals. Sure seal weather stripping and adjustable lock keeps them watertight. Corbin's Beetle Bags come pre-painted to coordinate with your factory paint job so they're ready to install right out of the box. Saddlebag lids are molded using our new RTM (Resin Transer Molding) process so they're more rigid and finished on both sides to look nicer open or closed.
Fibertech Construction
Manufactured of our exclusive Fibertech™ material for durability and a clean finish. Specially formulated for Corbin, Fibertech™ gives us very tight tolerances with minimal shrinkage so each part comes out true to the original design.
Finish
We use a quality gel-coat for a nice finish that doesn't show material weave. When ordering parts in "primer gel-coat" you can expect a part ready for your painter's preparation. Most Corbin components are also available prepainted and ready for immediate installation.

Corbin Beetle Bags come fully lined with a nice, thick grey liner on the inside to protect your cargo. Sure seal weather stripping around the doors keeps out the elements. Locking doors keep contents secure.

Installation is simple using hardware and brackets that are included. Corbin bags are designed to work with your stock turn signals so there is no wiring to worry about. Suitable for an average weekend mechanic, complete instructions included.
Beetle Bags come complete with lining and weather stripping preinstalled and doors/locks pre-mounted. Basically, take 'em out of the box and install on your bike!
When loading items inside thebags, it is best to load heavy items closest to the bike for best load bearing and balance. It is important to load items like disk locks carefully. If you throw an item like this into one of the bags, it can create pressure cracks in the paint on the outside of the bag.

PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available.
