Corbin's patented Rumble Seat design is back! By popular demand, we have re-engineered our exclusive design that offers you the best of both worlds... Slick solo looks and passenger capability with a flip of the wrist. Convenient and easy to use, this seat design features an all new hinge mechanism that secures the passenger fold down backrest in either position effortlessly. Just fold it up or down and you're ready to roll in style. Naturally, the saddle looks great in either position and is finished in your choice of styles for a totally custom look.
For solo cruising, the passenger rest provides a slick look similar to our original Gunfighter saddle design. When you wish to carry passengers, just fold up the rear pad to reveal a generous passenger seating area complete with backrest. Of course the passenger seat and backrest pad are constructed with our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam to give excellent support and riding range. This is the most versatile seat design available for your VTX 1300 Retro. On the rear of the seat we use painted panels in colors to match your Honda paint job for a truly classy touch (sorry, solid colors only... no two-tones).
Naturally, the Rumble Seat is designed for excellent rider comfort up front and is also built up of our exclusive Comfort Cell® foam. Our foam material feels firm when you first ride it, but this firmness is what gives you the ability to ride great distances in comfort... long lasting support! The front seating area is ergonomically contoured to provide a larger area of body contact and excellent weight distribution. The fold down passenger rest adds extra seat height to give you additional back support and longer riding range. Passenger seating is generous and perfect for short to mid-range rides with the backrest in the flipped up position.
Rumble Seat features genuine leather seating for a perch that breathes with your body and breaks in with the foam shape. Choose from a variety of leather styles to customize the look of the saddle. In the side panels and tail, we use a coordinating vinyl to keep your foam shape tight and the saddle looking sharp longer. Leather makes an excellent cover for a motorcycle seat because it is extremely durable and luxurious to ride on. As your saddle ages, the leather will take on its own unique character just like your leather jacket does. Just be sure to care for your new saddle properly with a quality leather conditioner like our Saddle Cream.
We also offer an option of heated rider seating for your Rumble seat design. We incorporate a heater unit under the leather seating and a switch on the left side of the saddle (so you can turn it on without removing your hand from the throttle). Just flip the switch to the low or high position and the seat will warm up and maintain temperature automatically through an integrated controller. A true bit of luxury for those chilly morning rides! Corbin's heater wires connect easily into your stock fusebox with all wiring and adapters included.
Notice how the saddle is designed to fit perfectly to the tank, chassis and fender. This kind of fit is available only in genuine Corbin saddles. For simple installation, we've built in a new key lock system. Just mount the included latch pin to your fender in place of the stock seat screw. You can then install the saddle by slipping the tongue (located at the front of the seat) into the chassis in the regular spot and lowering the saddle down onto the latch pin. To release, just insert the key into the lock and turn.

Installation: Rumble seat installs on your bike easily with all brackets and necessary components included. Our new keylock system makes on and off simple! Bracket for fender is included and latch mechanism comes preinstalled on the saddle. Naturally if you've opted for the heated model, we include all needed wiring and adapters.
Once the bracket is installed, just slide the nose of the saddle into place with the standard tongue into the chassis. Then lower the rear of the saddle into place and latch onto the latch pin. To remove, just turn the key!
Rumble seat has not been tested to work with any sissy bar or other passenger backrest assembly.
Take good care of your new seat and the seat will take good care of you. Designed to help your leather saddle remain weather resistant and keeps the hide supple. This will allow the leather to break in and age gracefully. Great for boots, gloves & jackets too. Simple rub-in, buff out application. *More Info*

All Corbin saddles (with very little exception) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.... don't let anybody tell you that vinyl is just as good! You wouldn't buy vinyl boots would you?
PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
