Now available from Corbin's Workshop of Wizards is this outstanding Classic style Solo Saddle for the new Sporty. Designed to provide maximum rider comfort combined with a classy, nostalgic look. Provides the use of our removable rider's backrest for over 13 inches of vertical back support. Our sculpted seating position gives maximized body contact and provides true touring comfort with a bucket that gives plenty of lower support. Our neutralized seat platform offers an easier reach to the ground and a more ergonomic position on the bike.
Corbin's removable rider backrest is simple to install and adjusts easily to your riding posture. Slide the backrest shaft into the internal hardware of the Classic Solo and lock it in place with a single bolt. You can then set the backrest position to your preferred setting and lock it in place with the easily accessible adjustment screw... no need to remove the saddle to accomplish this. Choose from a variety of backrest styles to suit your taste although we recommend the #02-S Ovalbac® for a good combination of looks and support. Corbin's saddle and backrest provide excellent support for riding while the shaping in the saddle's nose allows you to slide forward and get excellent ground reach at stop signs. For ultra-cool solo looks, you can run the Corbin Classic Solo Saddle by itself with a bare fender behind it. This allows you to show off that slick fender and still provides for use of the Corbin backrest if desired. We've incorporated a new saddle mounting system on the model that uses a key lock. This makes it extremely simple to install and remove the seat as desired. We build this model to look sly, but use our high density Comfort Cell® foam for a firm supportive ride. Dished shaping provides good contoured support and minimizes the tendency to slide in the saddle.
Choose from a range of leather styles and colors for a custom touch. Leather will provide a perch that breathes with your body and will break in along with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Be sure to care for your leather saddle with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. With proper care, your seat will age gracefully developing a unique character and will be your riding buddy for years. Optional chrome studs provide an added nostalgic touch (included at no charge, just specify) or for a truly distinct look add a colored welt.
To further customize the look of your bike, we can provide a variety of back plate options on our Ovalbac® series backrests. Our standard back plate has a leather look or you choose from any of the styles listed below. We can even provide a backing plate that is prepainted gloss black for just a little extra or, of course, the slick new chromed steel model shown here. Ovalbac® finishing plates change out easily with two screws and a little Locktite® (or other thread lock compound).

Installation: Corbin's Classic Solo uses an all new key-lock system for simple on & off installation. Hardware comes preinstalled on the saddle for ease of use and comes with two keys.
To enable the key lock system, install the included bracket onto your chassis as shown here. This will provide a latch pin on the bike for saddle to mount to.
Slide the nose of the Classic Solo into place with the tongue into the chassis and lower the solo onto the latching pin installed previously. The saddle will latch easily to the pin and secure it in place. To remove, simple turn the key and lift off the saddle.

A convenient storage solution that looks great too. Corbin's Glove Box bolts up easily to your #02-S(B) model backrest in place of the rear finishing plate to provide four liters of locking storage. PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
