Corbin's Chin Spoiler is designed to integrate the lines of the FXR into the bottom end for a more visually streamlined look. Picking up at the bottom of the tank, our spoiler flows over the frame downtubes with a large duct built into the design for proper engine cooling. We've designed this piece to work with the stock FXR foot controls, but with a little simple modification it can work with forward controls if you've already installed a set of those (more on that later). Fits all FXR chassis' without any frame modifications.
Notice how closely our spoiler fits to the line of your tank and around the engine. This gives your painter an excellent canvas to ply their trade and ties the bike together in a very clean fashion. We offer the spoiler in primer gel-coat ready for your painter's preparation or for a little extra pre-painted in gloss black and ready for installation right out of the box. Mounting is simple and we include all needed hardware and detailed instructions. This is a simple project for the average weekend mechanic.
Constructed of durable fiberglass composite using Corbin's new RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) technology for an extremely rigid part that holds its shape perfectly. This new manufacturing process adopted by the Wizard's Workshop allows us to create parts that match the original design precisely with virtually no variance from piece to piece. This also provides a very smooth surface that requires less pre-paint preparation. Long story short, the Corbin chin spoiler looks excellent and will remain that way for many years to come. For long term paint durability, many folks work with their painter for a little extra protection under the grill area because this is where you are most likely to get rock chips from the front tire. Likewise a small piece of clear contact paper would protect the paint and be virtually invisible and very simple to install or replace as needed.
As a finishing touch, our Chin Spoiler includes a billet aluminum grill insert for a true hot rod feel. The grill insert is machined from solid billet aluminum and polished to a lustrous shine so it looks excellent on any bike. You can easily remove the grill from the spoiler if you wish to send it to your local chrome shop for a bit more flair and easier maintenance. We've even had some people taking the grill to their painter to have it done up in a coordinating or contrasting color. The options are limitless! Grill is simple to remove from the spoiler as needed.

 | Installation Instructions: [ Page 1 ] [ Page 2 ] |
 |
 | Please remember to test fit your Chin Spoiler before painting. In some cases, minor trimming may be necessary to work with some aftermarket
exhaust systems. Installation is simple and uses an included bracket that bolts to a stock location on your frame. This bracket provides a stud at the top for mounting the spoiler and is secured with a chrome acorn nut (included). |
 |
 | At the bottom, there is a bracket on each side that bolts to the Spoiler and then into your chassis (also in an existing location). Your frame may have plastic plugs in these bolt holes currently, but they are simple to remove. In this image you can also see where the Corbin Chin Spoiler was modified to work with a set of aftermarket forward controls. |
 |
 | By simply drilling a hole in the side of the Spoiler it was able to work with this particular set of forward controls as the only thing needed was clearance for the lock nut. There are many styles available, so you will want to test fit everything before you have paint applied. Modifications can be made easily as needed with a small grinder or grinding wheel on a drill. Then just smooth out the area as needed and paint. |
