Classic solo is designed to provide maximum rider comfort combined with a nostalgic look appropriate to the Rocker. Allows use of our removable rider's backrest for 13 inches of vertical back support (seat & backrest combined). Our sculpted seating position gives maximized body contact and provides touring quality support. Neutralized seat platform offers an easier reach to the ground and a more ergonomic position on the bike.
Corbin's optional removable rider backrest is simple to install and adjusts easily to your riding posture. Slide the backrest shaft into the internal hardware of the Corbin Solo and lock it in place with a single bolt. You can then set the backrest position to your preferred angle and lock it in place with the easily accessible adjustment screw... no need to remove the saddle to accomplish this. Choose from a variety of backrest styles to suit your taste. We recommend the #02-S Ovalbac (shown) for best combination of looks and support.
Saddle is built up with Corbin's exclusive Comfort Cell foam material for a firm supportive bucket that lasts. Built nearly twice as firm as the stock foam material so your body doesn't sink through the foam and create hot spots. Bucket design spreads weight evenly to support your body from the sides and eliminate centralized pressure. Comfort Cell also breaks in over over the miles to adapt to your body and provide a custom fit to your profile.
Classic Solo saddle is tastefully designed to fit perfect to the tank and chassis for a very clean look. Ergonomic shape provides a clean appearance with a flowing line and integrated skirts to conceal the installation points. Built on our Fibertech base material that provides the structural strength for the integrated backrest system and to support the carefully designed foam shape.
NOTE: Because of the added structural strength required for the backrest support system, we include a set of hardened steel bolts and lock washers for saddle installation. Do not reuse the oem hardware when installing the Corbin solo saddle!
On the outside, Corbin's Classic solo uses genuine leather in the seating panels for a luxurious perch that breathes with your body. On the model shown here we've used our standard natural grain leather seating with black faux-ostrich center trim, natural black sides and Asphalt skirts for added contrast. If you prefer something a bit flashier, we also offer grey faux-snake center trim or plain black to keep it subtle. For a clean appearance from the rear, we include a molded ABS cover under the seat with a ribbed design that coordinates nicely.
Leather seating will break in along with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Be sure to care for your leather saddle with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. With proper care, your seat will age gracefully developing a unique character and will be your riding buddy for years.
If you would like to add a bit of storage to your Rocker, check out the Corbin Glovebox. Bolting onto your #02-S Corbin backrest in place of a finishing plate to provide convenient locking storage. Sized just ride to keep all your essentials like cell phone, maps, water bottles and spare gloves. Available in unfinished ABS (black) or prepainted gloss black for a little extra.
