Corbin Beetle Bags & Rear Fender for Harley Davidson Softail
Beetle Bags combine a slick look and the convenience of locking storage on your Softail. Our new fleetside bags are designed to fit all Softails with specific bracket kits for your year bike, please specify the proper year application when ordering. Beetle Bags are sculpted to follow the flowing lines of the bike and provide a hotrod theme to the rear end.
All applications are designed to bolt up easily to your stock chassis and will work with your stock Heritage style fender. Bags are fully lined and come with locks and weather stripping to protect your cargo. Doors open forward, into the wind so they will self close if you forget to lock them. All installation hardware is included for simple installation. Constructed of durable Fibertech for strength and durability and comes in primer Gel-coat ready for your painter’s prep or pre-painted gloss black. Works with most exhaust systems that mount lower than the stock passenger foot peg location. For the earlier models (‘84-’99), you may want to use longer foot peg extensions to allow for more passenger comfort. You can purchase them from your local Harley Davidson dealer.
A note of caution when loading Beetle Bags: Please take care when loading heavy items like locks as throwing them into the bag could crack the paint on the exterior. Just place heavy items in carefully and you’ll be fine. Corbin’s rear fender is designed to provide a look similar to the Heritage style fender shown, you will need a fender of this type if you would like to install our bags on a Night Train or Springer model. Sorry, our saddlebags and fender do not fit the Deuce model.

Available in either primer gel-coat (ready for your painter's preparation) or prepainted gloss black and ready to install right out of the box.
Interior
Saddlebag set comes fully lined with weather stripping installed to keep contents out of the weather. Door locks also come preinstalled with two keys.

NOTE: Sorry, these saddlebags will NOT fit with the stock HD Deluxe seat. This particular seat model sits too low on the side and interferes with installation.
When loading heavy items into the bags, be sure to place them in carefully. "Thowing" heavy items like disc locks into the bags can create cracks or stress marks in the paint on the outside.
Gel coat or painted? If it were me, I'd get the painted ones! Regardless of the color you want your finished bags, if you order them in black then you'll be working with completed pieces. You'll actually save money over having your painter to the prep work or doing the job yourself!
These saddlebags will work fine on the Softail Deluxe model if you change the rear turn signal mounts to the flatter ones as found on the FLH. See your local Harley dealer.

With the Corbin EZ-Fill adding oil to your primary is simple. Remove the knurled plug from the inspection cover and pour. It looks great and works just as well (a hallmark of Corbin design). All Corbin saddles (with very little exception) include Genuine Leather Seating to provide a luxurious look and feel.... don't let anybody tell you that vinyl is just as good! You wouldn't buy vinyl boots would you?
PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
