Designed as a direct replacement for the HD hard saddlebags with an added bit of Corbin design flair. We bring the bag wall right in to the side of the fender and mold around the shocks to give a more integrated and flowing look. The slick, rounded lines of the saddlebags and nearly seamless doors provide a truly custom touch that installs as easily as the stock bags using the existing hardware. Each bag provides 22 liters of storage adding functionality to the exquisite form.
Fleetliner saddlebags fit close to the fender to hide the hardware and mounting points. With Corbin bags, you won't need the side filler plates we offer for the Corbin fender or the fender extension with integrated sides ala the Street Glide. Carrying content weight closer to the centerline of the bike will provide better load bearing, improved balance, less width and an overall cleaner look.
On top of the bags, we've integrated filler panels that keep things looking smooth. Simply remove the filler panels and the Corbin Fleetliner bags are ready to work with your HD accessory docking kit. This will allow your bagger to run with detachable luggage racks, passenger backrests or Tour Paks. Clearance is provided to use these items in the front (solo) or rear (two-up) positions. Naturally the doors of the Corbin Fleetliner bags will clear your trunk in either position.
Corbin saddlebags are tooled up especially for each bike model so they're visually integrated. The flowing shape provides a bit of a Hot Rod flair and a look far cleaner than "one shape fits all" hard luggage. Both bags feature top loading so contents can't spill out when opened. The close fit design keeps a narrower profile for less width to worry about when lane splitting. Notice also how the Corbin bags are made to provide plenty of ground clearance in the corners... these bags are made for folks that RIDE!
Our design team shaped these bags to work with your stock exhaust system, but they will work equally well with any system that has a profile the same or lower than your stock pipe. We've actually tested them with systems from Bub, S&S, Samson and Rinehart. Since we use the stock saddlebag hangers, it's safe to say that any pipes that would work with stock bags will also work with Corbin Fleetliners.
Fleetliner saddlebags fit perfect and install simply onto your stock bag hangers and reuse the 1/4 turn fasteners. In the front, our bags are shaped to allow room for passengers' legs on the rear footpegs. Includes heel pads for a clean look that protects the bag's finish with locking latch mechanism built in. Please note, these bags will not work with the saddlebag crash guards!
Both bags come completely lined to protect your cargo and feature locking doors for security. Manufactured of a durable, roto-molded polyurethane material, Fleetliner bags are available in primer or prepainted a single color and ready for immediate installation. Corbin saddlebags work with your stock seat or a variety of Corbin seat models (Hollywood Solo model #HD-FLH-9-H shown).
For a really clean look on top, we engineered remote door releases into the heel pads. These chrome releases have a built in lock so you can secure the saddlebag contents when you step away from your bike. Inside, a spring loaded popper opens the door slightly when released. Saddlebag doors are hung on a Corbin designed billet hinge with hydraulic helper that lifts the door up and away from the saddlebag. Very trick!
Capacity: So what exactly does 22 Liters mean anyway? Just to give you an idea, we took some measurements and compared these bags to those made by Harley-Davidson for the FLH models (Electra-Glide, Street Glide, Road King and Road Glide). This is how it shakes out...
Corbin Fleetliner Bags Capacity: 22 liters each
Stock HD Hard Bags Capacity: 26 liters each
That's right, although the Corbin Fleetliner bags appear much smaller than the H-D models they are actually fairly close in capacity!
