Naturally, we set out to design a seat to fit the bike visually as well as improving the quality of your ride... Corbin's saddle does just that! Our high density Comfort Cell foam allows a sleek, low profile while providing a firm supportive ride that lasts. Rider seating is ergonomically shaped to fit the curve of your body and provide better weight distribution. This also helps to eliminate the centralized pressure felt from the stock seat. In the nose area, we sculpt the saddle narrow to allow for good ground reach.
Passenger seating area is designed with a neutralized platform to curb sliding forward in the saddle. Dished shaping provides an excellent contact patch while maintaining a clean look. This gives your passenger good mid-range comfort. Sorry folks, but the removable passenger backrest isn't available in this seat model... there's just nowhere to put the hardware for it safely. (Have you looked under that seat?) On the other hand, we did integrate hardware to use your Ducati seat cowling. Just bolt it onto the Corbin seat as you would with the stock seat for a fast, solo look. We provide two chrome button head screws with the saddle to use in the seat sides when the cowling is not installed. This keeps things nice and clean!
Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the tank, tail section and sides... this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin's ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal.
On top, we include genuine leather seating panels for a luxurious ride. Our standard design includes Black Carbon-Fiber leather seating with Asphalt vinyl contrasting sides for clean, sporty looks. Because the seat is designed to mate up nicely with the Ducati seat cowling, we do NOT recommend using a "welt" on this saddle model.
We use genuine leather seating in all of our saddle models because it breathes with your body and will conform along with the foam shape during break in. This provides an added bit of luxury on those long rides. In the side panels, we use a coordinating vinyl material that will support the foam shape and keep the saddle looking sharp longer. Be sure to care for you leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help the leather to remain supple and weather resistant while it matures gracefully.

The Corbin saddle will not fit properly if this stepper motor is present under the passenger seat. This did not exist on the early models, but we have found it on many newer models. If you will be changing to an aftermarket full exhaust system, you will likely be removing this as it operates the exhaust valve (post-cat) in the stock system.
Saddle mounts like stock with a tongue in the front and latch pin in the rear. Corbin latch integrates with your stock Ducati key lock.
Saddle includes two chrome button head screws to use in the side of the saddle when the seat cowling is not used.
Due to the tight tolerances with the seat cowling, a "welt" is not recommended in this cover design.
Take good care of your new seat and the seat will take good care of you. Designed to help your leather saddle remain weather resistant and keeps the hide supple. This will allow the leather to break in and age gracefully. Great for boots, gloves & jackets too. Simple rub-in, buff out application. *More Info*

PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available.
