Front Saddle & Smuggler for 2006 - 2008 BMW K1200 GT
For those who tour solo we offer the Smuggler trunk. Smuggler is an integral part of Corbin's modular seat system that replaces the passenger seat with a storage trunk that is artfully designed and color matched to your paint. Taking a passenger today? Not a problem, simply remove the Smuggler and replace with a passenger seat (Corbin model only). Conversion is simple and uses your stock BMW key lock system with brackets preinstalled on the Corbin components. Versatility, good looks and comfort combined!
Smuggler provides a very clean solo look and the most convenient storage available. Built to follow the lines of the GT and integrate with the body for a deceptively small appearance. Pop open the door and you have access to fourteen liters of locking storage. For the images above we packed in water bottles, gloves, maps, cell phone, digital camera... but that didn't fill it up. Use Smuggler for just about anything you want secure and easy access to. You'll find the Smuggler so convenient that you'll be getting stuff out of it every time you stop your bike.
Slick details like the ribs at the back pick up the details of the bike and lend a bit more flair. Our patented molding process and exclusive materials create a part with very minimal variation from piece to piece. This allows us the ability to design a very close fit to the bodywork. Smuggler is then hand-finished and custom painted with quality materials from companies like PPG and House of Kolor (varies by color selected).
Speaking of that nice looking touring saddle... Up front, the enhanced ergonomics create a perch that provides long range comfort. Using our exclusive high-density Comfort Cell foam, we can build a supportive saddle without a bulky shape. Corbin's Wizards are masters at combining form and function into a saddle that makes you as happy to look at as it does to ride on. For those chilly morning rides, the Corbin seat has the option of electric heat. Simple to install and operate, the seat maintains the proper temperature automatically through an integrated controller. Simply flip the conveniently located switch to low or high and enjoy the warmth.
Notice how the bucket is dished to emulate the shape of your body. This gives excellent support for longer range. Neutralized seating helps to curb sliding in the saddle which greatly reduces rider fatigue. We include your choice of color options for looks from outrageous to stealthy. The cover design used here works great on the bike regardless of paint color. Shown in Mercedes leather seating with Asphalt vinyl sides. Our custom stitch pattern makes a nice finishing touch (required on heated models).
Smuggler comes fully lined to help protect your cargo and cushion some of the road noise. Naturally, the door opening is fully weather stripped to guard against foul weather as well. Locking door keeps things secure and simple to access. Our new stainless steel hinge mechanism allows the door to open very wide to keep it out of the way when stowing your gear.

Installation is simple with all hardware included. Once Corbin bracket is installed in the rear, both the front and rear can be installed or removed using the stock key lock.

Our most popular backrest model is the perfect blend of form and function. The size looks visually appropriate on most every seat yet is large enough to provide good, sculpted support. The standard Corbin backrest for years! This model is the same size and shape as the Standard Ovalbac above, but without the hole in the middle. Provides plenty of sculpted back support without looking too big on the bike. Works in both the rider or passenger seating area on virtually all Corbin saddle models. Like the Standard Ovalbac show above, but with a larger contact area for added support. Works great as a passenger backrest in Dual Touring models. Because of the added width, we do not recommend this model in the front position while carrying a passenger... it may interfere with their legs. Sculpted to provide wide ergonomic support. This model is specially designed to be used in the large Dual Touring seats (like HD Baggers) or in Master's Type saddles as found on the Goldwings. Sculpted for extended support both vertically and horizontally, but cut away at the bottom to provide clearance for passenger's legs. If you want the functionality of a backrest, but also want the smallest appearance possible, this is the backrest model for you. This one is most often used as a rider's backrest in Gunfighter seat models (thus the name). Includes a variety of finishing plate options for the rear. *More Info*
A convenient storage solution that looks great too. Corbin's Glove Box bolts up easily to your #02-S(B) model backrest in place of the rear finishing plate to provide four liters of locking storage. PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
