Naturally, we set out to design a seat to fit the bike visually as well as improving the quality of your ride... Corbin's saddle does just that! Our high density Comfort Cell foam allows a sleek, low profile while providing a firm supportive ride that lasts. Rider seating is ergonomically shaped to fit the curve of your body and provide better weight distribution. This also helps to eliminate the centralized pressure felt from the stock seat. In the nose area, we sculpt the saddle narrow to allow for good ground reach.
Passenger seating area is designed with a neutralized platform to curb sliding forward in the saddle. Provides an excellent contact patch while maintaining a clean look. This gives your passenger good mid-range comfort. Sorry folks, but the removable passenger backrest isn't available in this seat model... there's just nowhere to put the hardware for it safely (have you looked under that seat?) Passenger area is shaped to give a fast look that matches the bike.
Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the tank and sides... this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin's ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal.
On top, we include genuine leather seating panels for a luxurious ride. Our standard design includes Black natural grain leather seating up front with Asphalt vinyl contrasting sides and silver carbon-fiber tail accents for clean, sporty looks. For ultra clean looks we do not recommend using a "welt" on this saddle model.
We use genuine leather seating in all of our saddle models because it breathes with your body and will conform along with the foam shape during break in. This provides an added bit of luxury on those long rides. In the side panels, we use a coordinating vinyl material that will support the foam shape and keep the saddle looking sharp longer. Be sure to care for you leather saddle properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream. This will help the leather to remain supple and weather resistant while it matures gracefully.
Mounts to the motorcycle using the OEM key lock system for simple installation. BMW supplied three mounting points for the stock seat unit, but because of the rigid base material of the Corbin saddle, we only need to use two of the mounting positions. This provides simpler installation of the saddle that is just as secure as the stock unit.

ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. Saddle mounts using the OEM key lock system with brackets premounted on the Corbin saddle. Notice we use the mid-point bracket set and the lock pin at the rear only. The rigid Corbin basepan doesn't require the front nose clips to be secured... This simplifies installation.
Space for your tool pouch is built into the base of the Corbin saddle with the pouch being held in place with included hook & loop fastener strap (not shown in above basepan image).
Take good care of your new seat and the seat will take good care of you. Designed to help your leather saddle remain weather resistant and keeps the hide supple. PLEASE NOTE: Corbin products are designed to fit very close to your bike for a clean look. Due to this, other accessories or options can inhibit proper fit. As an example: Tank Consoles (dashes), ignition modules, exhaust systems, sissy bars, etc. If you have accessories installed on your bike, please let us know so we can verify the fit for you.
SADDLE WARRANTY: Basepan, foam and hardware of the Corbin saddle is warranted to the original owner for life. Cover materials, Heaters and workmanship are warranted for one year. Product will only be authorized to be shipped back, freight pre-paid, for refining of shape or to replace/rectify defective parts. In cases where the rework requires a new cover, a recover charge will be applied. Cash or credit refunds are not available. All goods being handled for customer service consideration must be accompanied by a Corbin receipt and a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).
FIBERGLASS WARRANTY: Structural integrity of Corbin fiberglass components are warranted to the original owner for life. Finish and paint are warranted against manufacturing defect for one year. Damage to product and / or painted surfaces from outside forces or misuse is specifically not covered under warranty. Cash or credit refunds are not available.
